Re: Arena Tournament, Round 56: Throk, Dhomi Nho, Mr. Q, Yrik Ihn-Tauk Free For All
Well that all seems to be clarified, but still requesting LOS, sorry for the delay Psionic. I'll post round 6 assuming no LOS if you like, otherwise we can put out another request.

@Aradoom:
SpoilerJust need to clarify this first - you stated a move from O12 to J12, which is on top of a wall. Do you have some way of getting up there that I've missed?

SpoilerDhomi Nho spot: (1d20)[12] (includes -2 distance)
Dhomi Nho listen: (1d20-1)[13] (includes -2 distance)
Mr. Q:
SpoilerBefore your Round 5 action, you hear the sound of bony feet to the southeast. Provided this doesn't change your actions -SpoilerYou establish LoS as you finish your jump. There is a skeleton in I14, and Dhomi is in K12.
Dhomi Nho: If Mr. Q. is done with his turn as stated, read:

Re: Arena Tournament, Round 56: Throk, Dhomi Nho, Mr. Q, Yrik Ihn-Tauk Free For All
SpoilerSouth East. Yep, still taking the jump.
At half speed that took 70ft out of my 80ft double movement.
So... he's in K-12.
And he's been one-shotting my foes. Probably with fell-drained sonic snaps.
I think he gets three of those each day. For the first time ever I wish I was a bard with a silent image I could walk out.
I'll take my chances and end in G-15.
We're 25 ft apart counting the vertical, so that's a DC 15 spot he'd have to make including distance. Terrible time to roll a natural 4 on the hide, but maybe I'll still survive.
Done.

Re: Arena Tournament, Round 56: Throk, Dhomi Nho, Mr. Q, Yrik Ihn-Tauk Free For All
So it should now be
Round 6- Dhomi Nho
(sorry bout all the confusing clarifications and refs only posts that took over for a while Q, things seem to be moving along now)
Actions:
Spoiler
Free Action: Command skeleton to move and attack anyone other than me (I suppose if Mr. Q ever gets close enough he might be able to overhear my commands, giving him a bit of heads up)
And question for refs, is "command to move" sufficient that I can choose to which square he goes or would you like me to spell out the actual direct quote? Such as *point at corner* "go around the corner and attack anyone who is there"
Skeleton:
Move to F18
Dhomi Nho:
Move to I17
I'll take my standard actions after LOS is determined (also note that while I may not see what my skeleton sees, I'm going to note which direction he tosses that sling bullet if direct LOS is not established, in that case refs may need to roll his attack roll on my behalf, it has a +3 and will deal 1d4+3 damage on a successful attack)
Stats:
Spoiler
HP 7/7
PP 2/2
AC 13, flat footed 10, touch 13 (10 + 3 dex)
Position: I17
Sling in hand (loaded)
Psionically focused
Skeleton:
HP 8/8
AC 15, touch 13, flat footed 12 (10 + 3 dex + 2 natural)
Position: F18
Wielding sling (loaded)
Ranseur held in off hand
Spells Perpared:
0-Message
Ghost Sound
Sonic Snap
1-Fell Drain Sonic Snap
Fell Drain Sonic Snap
Maneuver Readied: Counter Charge
Not done just yet.
*edit* just added strikeout for clarification, looking down below one can see that this turn is voided due to establishment of some sort of LOS last round

Re: Arena Tournament, Round 56: Throk, Dhomi Nho, Mr. Q, Yrik Ihn-Tauk Free For All
Egh, I'm sorry, looks like I screwed up; forgot the skeleton's spot check.
The skeleton spots Mr. Q as he finishes his movement, and its readied sling attack goes off.
Attack: (1d20+3)[22]
Damage: (1d4+3)[6]
Crit confirm: (1d20+3)[5]
Crit damage: (1d4+3)[4]
Dhomi, you see the bullet fly north. Mr. Q, if you wish to revise the end of your turn after you finished your movement, you may do so.Last edited by Sallera; 2009-07-13 at 08:16 PM.

Re: Arena Tournament, Round 56: Throk, Dhomi Nho, Mr. Q, Yrik Ihn-Tauk Free For All
The skeleton flings up another bullet... which flies harmlessly over the wall.
Attack: (1d20+3)[11]
Damage: (1d4+3)[6]
Crit confirm: (1d20+3)[18]
Crit damage: (1d4+3)[6]
Mr. Q:
SpoilerDhomi moves to I16 and drops prone, defending himself, then orders the skeleton to reload and attack. As you can see, this doesn't work too well.
Dhomi Nho:
SpoilerYou see the skeleton fire north and up, but as it doesn't hit anything, this doesn't help you much. No LoS.Last edited by Sallera; 2009-07-14 at 11:40 PM.

Re: Arena Tournament, Round 56: Throk, Dhomi Nho, Mr. Q, Yrik Ihn-Tauk Free For All
Quil - Round 6
It's raining...
Arrow 1 - (1d20+6)[10]
Damage - (1d8+2)[5]
Arrow 2 - (1d20+6)[21]
Damage - (1d8+2)[5]
Arrow 3 - (1d20+6)[23]
Damage - (1d8+2)[10]
Crit Check - (1d20+6)[10]
Damage - (1d8+2)[6]
As the arrows fall Mr. Q reveals himself to be standing on the wall in G-15.
I'm not sure about arrows 2&3, but if Mr. Q was still hidden from you when your turn ended then I know arrow 1 at least catches you flatfooted.
You still standing or does Q need to take his free actions and end?Last edited by Psionic Dog; 2009-07-15 at 05:21 AM.

Re: Arena Tournament, Round 56: Throk, Dhomi Nho, Mr. Q, Yrik Ihn-Tauk Free For All
(1d100)[91] - stabilization roll (not really necessary but just for kicks)
Dhomi Nho falls the the ground like a pincushion and bleeds to death
Skeleton stands passively, waiting for future orders
Good game there
