Devils corrupt. Demons destroy.
Erinyes are far more out of place than succubi.

Re: Dungeons and dames. vixens of tabletops
Dang!! That photo looks so awesome!! I wonder who's the model...
...wait, why you say it's a drawing? It's certainly a photo, if you look closely...
...the signature? Well, I've seen digital cameras add the date to the JPEG; most probably that's a professional digital camera...?
Well, be it a photo or a drawing :P; time for more indulging of damsels! This one is a bit bad drawn, but it reminds of the Shadowmind posted earlier.

Excellent thread. If I had it on me I'd post my current character, but alas the pic is on my laptop, so I'll have to find this thread again later to share her awesomeness.

Re: Dungeons and dames. vixens of tabletops
I don't know where exactly it is, but either in the PHB or the DMG there's a picture of Lidda near a treasure chest holding up some shiny thing and her other hand is...well, it's an odd drawing.
Then there's always the one where she's holding the magic item that's blown up in her face.If we the spirits hath offended, think but this and all is mended; that you didst slumber here, whilst this message didst appear.

Re: Dungeons and dames. vixens of tabletops
I prefer Ron Spencer's take on Lidda, specifically the version from the MoI.
Spoiler
Unfortunatly, I can't get an image of this one unless I put it on Photobucket, and this doesn't belong to me (so I'm just linking to it instead).
This is what a battle bard is supposed to look like. Incidentally, this character is one of the few redeeming qualities of that particular game...

Re: Dungeons and dames. vixens of tabletops
4chan has portrait threads quite often, this is what I've found:
Well it's half relevant
Spoiler
Some caster I thought looked cool (high-res)
Spoiler
Okay yeah, she's probably too young for this thread, but I just like that outfit and armor
Spoiler
Greatest bard evar (high-res)
Spoiler
And greatest avenger portrait, IMO. Or a paladin ceremonial garb. (again, high-res)
Spoiler
Dunno source, but I love the allure of this one
Spoiler
Some mechanic chick. I own a miniature like this, and I really need to finish painting it
Spoiler
I dunno if it's a actually girl, but if it is that's one badass dual-axe ranger
Spoiler
And while we're on the subject of Pathfinder, the gods have portraits, too. This is Iomedae, goddess of paladins and stuff like that. Forget Shelyn, nothing beats a svelte warrior woman in full plate (high-res)
Spoiler
Some sci-fi looking girl with a gun. Love the art style
Spoiler
So... this one kinda confuses me. And can be seen as stereotypical, but it's interesting nonetheless
Spoiler
Here's the portrait I'm using for my character Pallas, an invoker of Ioun, and being a priestess of the goddess of knowledge she writes down everything in her travels, so this is a most fitting portrait (except she's human, so I Photoshopped the point off her ear, so apologies to Howard Lyon ^^;; )
Spoiler
Though I recently made this, and I'm considering changing
And before you ask about the wings, she's multiclassed into avenger and took the Unveiled Visage paragon path.Spoiler

Re: Dungeons and dames. vixens of tabletops
mmmm... True. Though I have to wonder at that... strip of fabric inbetween her legs. Seems like it's being a bit too seductive for a paladin goddess... Does someone need a bit of atoning?
Actually, come to think of it... what would those be called? Could be sometimes a part of a tabard, but in this case.... nah...

Re: Dungeons and dames. vixens of tabletops
No atonement necessary.
Those are kind of accurate, actually. When the age of alwhite plate hit (plate that's not covered up by anything), some knights would wear loincloths with their arms on them as an additional identifier, since full plate and shield (which is wear their identification would normally be located) weren't generally used together. Hers is longer than necessary - being wrapped around her leg like that it's actively dangerous, actually - but it's not out of line for a fighter in alwhite plate to have it at all.
Additionally, I've got my character portraits folder sorted pretty well, and one of the folders is "women with reasonably realistic armor". That pic is one of the headliners in that folder. It's a wonderful image. One of my faves for sure.Originally Posted by Dervag

Sounds like the entire chaotic alignment spectrum to me. All hail Law, and its infinite capacity for badassitude.
If we're allowed to link to stuff, this is my favorite artist I've seen on deviantart. He does D&D pictures of some of the important Archons, Devils, and Demons. Here are four of the devil ladies that I like (that have no nudity):
Fierna
Baalphegor
Bensozia
Lilis
Belial's, Mephistopheles', Asmodeus', and Dispater's main squeezes, respectively.
I kind of wish Bel had a lady friend, 'cause I really like Bel, but I guess he's married to his work, really.Last edited by Xefas; 2009-07-06 at 05:11 AM.

No. Just..... Just no.
I heard they were bringing back planescape, but it's pretty clear that it won't be any planescape I can recognize.

Re: Dungeons and dames. vixens of tabletops
Here's a silly one. Anyone ever read the Grimtooth's Traps series of books? They are full of bizzare and sadistic traps for DMs to spring on their players, all portrayed in a comical, almost Mad Magazine like tone.
The star of the books, Grimtooth the Troll, has a sister:
