Re: GLoG 37: Dysfunction Junction
It hits the wall and slumps to the floor.
...
...
Then starts to slowly stand up. KILL IT! KILL IT WITH FIRE!
((And Deadtime there. Daisuke can use his blasty light thing to keep it in place, I need to get off of the computer))Last edited by billtodamax; 2009-08-05 at 06:06 AM.

Re: GLoG 37: Dysfunction Junction
Daisuke does use his blasty thing!
Which I remember the incantation to!
Bakudo 61. Rikujokoro.
Six rods of light slam into the last werewolf. That done, Daisuke moves them all back into their rooms, untaping Susan-werewolf's jaw, and once the sun rises, gets Abigail up.
They are out in the Great Room at the moment, eating breakfast. And talking.

Re: GLoG 37: Dysfunction Junction
There's a funny scratching sound coming from the front door. Almost as if someone is scratching the wood of it with a sharp metal stylus. Which is funny, because that's exactly what's happening.

Re: GLoG 37: Dysfunction Junction
Greg is still inside GLoG. He is calibrating some of his equipment to track the emission signature form the radiation pellet he tagged Karuka with yesterday.
The emission will be strong enough to track for about, say, 3 days, assuming Greg got a clean hit on Karuka. Also, he discounts any signal coming from the vicinity of the [Cave], as he missed with a pellet there.

Re: GLoG 37: Dysfunction Junction
Greg raises an eyebrow at how close the signal is. Somebody should probably be made aware of this...
He goes looking for that fellow from yesterday.

Re: GLoG 37: Dysfunction Junction
On the outside of the door, is a mess of gouged squiggly lines, intersecting at various points to make a half-formed sigil of protection, if Daisuke is at all familiar with the magicks of the Mystics of the Not-Quite-So-Far East.
On the doorstep however, is a young man wearing heavy work robes that might once have been saffron, but are now a faded grayish-brown color, though what color may remain is hidden behind the mass of pouch-laden belts that cross his chest and waist. He's vaguely tall, with dark brown hair and startlingly blue eyes that seem to pop out of his tanned face. An ornate longsword hilt can be seen poking over his right shoulder. The stylus is in his left hand.
"Oh hi."
He attempts to shake Daisuke's hand.
"The moon's awfully bright tonight, isn't it?"
Is the rest of his greeting.Originally Posted by Lord Magtok

Re: GLoG 37: Dysfunction Junction
Hand is shaken. Yes, it is.
Welcome to GLoG. My name's Daisuke Hayashi, but you can call me Daisuke.
What are you drawing?
Daisuke's familiar with far east, especially those relating to spirits, but not near east.

"I'm Ash Broekhart. Sorry about the door, I just noticed the lack of protection on it, and decided to add my own."
Unfortunately, he unexpectedly ((deadtimes)) at this point.Last edited by Ashen Lilies; 2009-08-05 at 07:41 AM.

Re: GLoG 37: Dysfunction Junction
Greg walks up behind Daisuke. "Hate to interrupt your fraternizing with the locals, but we've got problems. That Karuka girl is back. She's over the mountains right now."

Re: GLoG 37: Dysfunction Junction
Then Greg tells him about Karuka. Oh, god. This is bad.
Daisuke gives orders to the drones, and Abigail is quickly right next to him. Actually, carried by him. Also, drones are now outside the quarters of any member who has so much as sneezed in Cal's presence, if GLoG knows about it. And their loved ones.

Re: GLoG 37: Dysfunction Junction
Greg thinks for a second. "You mentioned that she has a unique movement technique. Could you explain that to me? How it works?"

Re: GLoG 37: Dysfunction Junction
She gathers her spiritual energy underneath her feet and uses that as a springboard, essentially.
It can also be used to treat the air as if it were solid ground.
Also, it's not unique. Most Shinigami can do it. I'm actually better at it than she is.

Re: GLoG 37: Dysfunction Junction
Greg thinks for a second. Again. "But does she need a path to move somewhere? Can she just go through stuff, or does she have to move around physical obstacles that she can't smash?"

Re: GLoG 37: Dysfunction Junction
Greg appeared thoughtful. "So, we just need to work on the second part, and then we can build a cage for her. And kidnapping people seems to be her gig, so we know what bait to use."

Re: GLoG 37: Dysfunction Junction
Nope. Last time, she dropped a giant Hollow bait in Soul Society. That was fun to 11th, but the rest of us didn't find it fun.
Her gig seems to now be hurting people I care about, specifically.
As he says this, Abigail is nearly asleep in his arms.
Also, I'm modifying a cell to hold her right now. I've also procured equipment for capturing her.

Re: GLoG 37: Dysfunction Junction
Greg shrugged. "Still, we know what is likely to get her attention. I'll go work on some details."

Re: GLoG 37: Dysfunction Junction
Right. The standard for Vizards is to seal their powers- that's actually what that seal used on KR was developed for.
They're also supposed to be immobilised, and that's what the cell's being modified for.

"So you've definitely got long term containment covered. Maybe I can use my idea to box her in to give you a chance to subdue her."

Re: GLoG 37: Dysfunction Junction
"Well, if we confine her to an area, I'm sure we can figure out something that's she vulnerable to and can't counter. So long as we can limit her ability to escape, control the environment she's in, and deny her reinforcements, I'm sure we can whittle her down."
