"I feel better now!" Sunny says. And returns to eating starburt candies.

Seems as though Zee is at a bit of a loss now.

She's a little iffy on that PEACE place if only due to the fact that it's protected by the vile forces of End-User Godmodding and as such she has no chance of ever accomplishing anything by going there. Ever.

Sort of makes rescue attempts pointless when a fortress is impenetrable for some reason and makes nice folks weak as kittens just 'cuz.

But that's where Magtok said Raril will likely be.

Hmm...

The evil overlord might be lying though. Evil overlords do that sometimes. Especially when they want to keep heroines out of their non-existent hair whilst engaging in dastardly misdeeds.

Maybe someone else has seen Raril lately?

Zee settles on poking DC in the ribs with her shoe. "Hiya DC! Have you seen Raril around lately? Magtok says he was kidnapped by Cauliflower."

Ugh...

DC gets up and stuff, his waking-up mind not really processing the question.

...How long was I out?

He'll probably be surprised when he finds out that he's barely been out at all.

Zee crosses her arms and generally looks grumpy. "I dunno! You just poofed in here and some guy magiced you better. But I really need to know if you've seen Raril around."

She decides to poke him some more at this point.

With a finger.

Still in the ribs, though.

DC floats backwards a bit at the poking, looking rather annoyed.

No, I haven't.

Zee sighs at this point, flopping into whatever convenient furniture is available.

She leans forward, cupping her chin in her palms. "Maybe Cauliflower really did kidnap Raril. How am I supposed to get him back now...?"

"Who is Raril?" Sunny asks. "Was he kidnapped by the same one that took Misaki?"

*continues nomming candy*

Thanks, "Vorka"! You prevented her from learning that eating too much candy was bad for her.

I suspect she'll figure it out soon though.

"Raril's my husband. 'n I don't know who kidnapped Misaki. Was it any evil skeleton person? Because if so it was probably Cauliflower," Zee reasons. Then makes a suitably confused face. "I don't even know why he would want to steal away Raril. Y'know, besides the fact that he's a wonderful person. But I don't think Cauliflower is all that interested in personal niftyness."

Sunny gasps. "It was a skeleton that stole Misaki. And Charity went to rescue her."

Mistaken identity ftw.

"Then it sounds like Cauliflower is up to no good!" Zee declares, stamping her fist into her palm. "In fact, it sounds like he's up to plenty of bad! Has Charity gotten back yet from the rescuing? 'cuz someone needs to stop Cauliflower once and for all."

"No. Charity hasn't come back," Sunny says. Then she thinks of another question. "What's a husband?"

DC raises an eyebrow at Zee.

And how, exactly, do we do that? I have something that could possibly keep him contained, but it's a temporary solution at best, and there's still the matter of getting him in it.

[Rebonack]

"A husband is the other half of a marriage covenant of course!" Zee replies matter of factly, having taken to nodding sagely. "See, I'm the wife. The husband and wife are joined together under the will of Deios, in both body and spirit. It's how Deios made the first humans and how we're to remember Deios' works."

More sagely nodding.

"And Cauliflower is always up to no good. It's kind of his thing. And the best way to stop someone who is up to no good is making them stop!"

Apparently she has no idea.

But she's very enthusiastic about her lacking plan.

"But what is marriage? Or covenant? Does Deios make robots too? Or just people?"

DC sighs and heads to the lab to go replace his forcefield thingy.

There is a knocking on the door. You should answer it.

Butler answers the door!
"Hello sir. Welcome to GLoG sir. How may I help you today sir?"

Replace sir with ma'am as needed.

"A covenant is an agreement that two people make. Like in marriage two people agree to love each other and be faithful and stuff. And marriage is a type of covenant," Zee explains, her mind already off the subject of Raril and Cauliflower and onto other things.

Distracting her isn't terribly difficult.

"And I dunno if Deios has ever made any robots before. I'm pretty certain that Deios has made all sorts of stuff I don't know about."

"So if two people love each other, then they can be husband and wife if they agree?" Sunny asks.

[Vespe Ratavo]

Three figures, dressed in orange jumpsuits, matching hats, and gigantic handlebar mustaches, stand in the doorway. Two are definitely men, although upon closer inspection, the third is a woman.

The first begins to speak, in an Italian accent so thick, you could cut it with an overused metaphor. Ah, yes, we're-a from-a Mama Leone-left-a-note-on-the-door-saying-sonny-move-out-to-the-country's Gazebo Repair Service. We heard-a your-a gazebo, she needs-a repair. Ah.

Butler continues smiling.
His stare has gone awfully blank though.

"There's something wrong with our pool sirs, ma'am?"

[Saurous]

The second handyman chimes in, using a much more toned down Italian accent when compared to his associate.

"No, friend. Your gazebo. Little building, usually in the garden. Pointed at the top, open on all sides? Yours is damaged, yes?"

[Rebonack]

"Well... not always," Zee admits, wrinkling her nose a bit. "This is a convenient between families, too. So getting the blessing of the respective Patriarchs is really important. Sometimes the family sets up the marriage themselves. And of course you need Deios' blessing. That's the most important part."

She sits up a little straighter to peer at the gazebo repair man.

[Reinholdt]

"Well... I don't know about any gazebo sir. But there's that nice wooden bench area that matches your description sir. But it's already been repaired sir." By the drones! Cause it breaks every time something bad happens as some sort of symbolism. Which is pretty much every day.

[Great Room]

"So if Charity says it's okay, then me and IZK-alpha could be marriaged?" Sunny asks. "But how is that different from before? I already love him."

[Vespe Ratavo]

The first bursts back in. No-a gazebo? This-a will not stand-a! If you-a no-a have-a a-a gazebo to repair-a, logically...a, we're-a gonna have to build-a you one, capeesh?
