Oddity was in the guards bathhouse, relaxing. It'd been a long day. Emperor Iames Osari had been pushing his guards harder and harder.

He closed his eyes and relaxed in the soothing pool.

As he lay there, he had a strange dream. He was surrounded by all of Emperor Osari's beautiful concubines. They began to caress his naked body lovingly.

Save us Oddity. Save us from harm. We will serve you forever, Lord Oddity. We will be yours, Master Oddity. Save us from the Emperor.

Then, one of them carressed his neck, but the hand went from a soft carress to a hardened edge. And his chest felt as if someone was drizzling warm molasses on it. How odd?

Night 12

The sharp-eyed old man walked out of the palace and into the market. On Emperor Osari's command, he was forced out of retirement and was searching the streets for anyone he found suspicious.

He looked over at the young man who was "escorting" him. Holding my leash is more like. The old man thought.

Then he saw something. A young girl walking with a limp. But he knew the limp was false. There was something not right about it. It was too forced.

There. He pointed her out. She's something suspicious.

Murska the Younger looked through the crowd. How did the old man see her? He thought as he squinted.

Murska the Younger ran through the crowd, slipping past bumbling idiots like a hot knife through butter.

But when he reached the place where the girl had been, she was gone. He had lost sight of her.

Not knowing which way to go, he looked around for choices. Down the left lane he saw nothing. The same when he looked right.

She's straight ahead you fool!

Murska tensed. How had that old man caught up to me already? But he looked straight ahead, and as one of the peddlers moved aside, he saw her.

With a growl, he made his way through the crowd, watching her as he went. He would not loose sight of her again.

He placed his hand upon her shoulder and forced her to turn toward him. You are coming with me...... He froze.

It can't be her! I killed you!!

Like a deer in headlights, she was also frozen, but with his words, instinct took over and she attempted to stab him.

He parried the thrust and was about to "kill" this woman; this murderous, loathsome creature before him, when he felt an arrow in his back. Then a second and a third.

Murska the Younger turned to see the old man, bow in his left hand, a fourth arrow in his right. He closed his eyes and fell to the ground.

The old man knelt before the Princess Alexi. I'm sorry M'lady. If I had known you were alive, I would never have led him to you.

Alexi placed her hand upon his head. Thank you. And then she was gone.

Anybody went back and looked over who was trying to derail the bandwagon when happy was up for lynch? It might shed a little light on the situation and give us a clue or two. 26 pages are just too much to go over once again and I haven't payed much attention to the game until now, since I expected to be long dead by now.

Also, Osari, I would like to have a word with you. You can't reveal your role in thread, but nothing prevents you from claiming to me in PM.
