Re: Fears 3: Full Circle - Game Started at Post 88
Night 5 Ends
Don't they know what they're doing?
Would it matter? They'd still be dancing on his strings...
There's got to be a way out of this...that red-haired chick, she pulled it off somehow.
And look where it got her.
You can dance along with those people out there if you want, I'm going to find a way out of this.
--
Oddly enough, the basement was probably the calmest place in the Manor at the moment. The screaming of the Manor's personal victim didn't seem to penetrate down there, leaving the victims down there with an uneasy quiet.
I can still seeeee you...
The giggle was swallowed by the quiet, no one there heard it, which was unfortunate as it would've maybe allowed them time to escape.
Warped, chitinous legs tip-toes their way along the wall, making no noise at all, carefully picking along until it was very nearly on top of its target: sleeping with his back against the wall.
One leg came down, stabbing through the victim's thigh, another ripped into his leg. The pain immediately woke him up just in time to see the warped, demented human-spider aberration begin to haul him up the wall.
What's inside your mind? It somehow managed to speak through the partially human side of the twisted face. What secrets do you hide?
The victim's screaming never made it out of the shadows.

O hush thee, my baby, thy sire was a knight,–
Thy mother a lady both lovely and bright;
The woods and the glens, from the towers which we see,
They all are belonging, dear baby, to thee.
O fear not the bugle, though loudly it blows,
It calls but the warders that guard thy repose;
Their bows would be bended, their blades would be red,
Ere the step of a foeman drew near to thy bed.
O hush thee, my baby, the time soon will come,
When thy sleep shall be broken by trumpet and drum;
Then hush thee, my darling, take rest while you may,
For strife comes with manhood, and waking with day.

Re: Fears 3: Full Circle - Game Started at Post 88
Down in the basement, what little light there is starts to gutter and fade. Before long, the entire area is thrown into total darkness. The victims scramble for some light source, anything.
But, just as suddenly as they started to die, the dim light returns, revealing the word astronomer crudely scrawled on the wall...

Ammmm, Reinholdt... you do realise you're pointing at Trixie and talking to Irbis right now? Or am I missing something?
That said, your reason is as good as any. Trixie.

Re: Fears 3: Full Circle - Game Started at Post 88
Odd?
How?
There is a seer proxy, so why not wait to see what he has to tell us? That being said, I'd like to see seer info, too. Especially given the fact that one hint might be simply a wolf ploy (not too likely, but possible) - given how you almost lynched self-proclaimed power role yesterday.

Re: Fears 3: Full Circle - Game Started at Post 88
I like that. You. As if I was ever on the Sweet wagon.
Unless you mean you're a fear and the villagers almost did it. Then your statement makes sense.
Because then the wolves also know what the seer knows. And can vote accordingly. Which means we don't learn a thing. Relying on the seer to win you the game is the surest path to a villager loss. Vote analysis is far more reliable, but you don't get that if you have too many "seer days". Something Trixie ought to know by now.
And there was some other odd stuff earlier, but I'm too busy to dig it up right now.
Though you did remind me... you're one to talk about "bitter voting".Last edited by Reinholdt; 2009-09-30 at 09:04 AM.

1) Murska was. You weren't? Okay, my memory failed me this time.
2) Me? A fear?
I think we see someone scared of shadows, here
3) Ok, I'll wait for that "proof"
4) Only what you taught me

Re: Fears 3: Full Circle - Game Started at Post 88
Pfft. I'm scared of EVERYTHING. Screw shadows, those are freaking WALLS!!
*flees and hides*
Go dig up your own evidence and offer your own counterpoints. It'll be good practice for you.
Besides, there's no such thing as proof with WW analysis. Only circumstantial evidence, psychology, and probability. Right now, I'm saying the circumstantial evidence and what I know of Trixie's psychology indicates she has a higher probability of being a fear than anyone else I looked at.
Or I could be pulling a Shadow and pointing at someone innocent to see who follows me. But I'll let Shadow be Shadow and me be me, thanks.

Re: Fears 3: Full Circle - Game Started at Post 88
So, you can expertly say who is a wolf after seeing their wolf style in play just once?
Wow, that beats Shadow and Freshmeat combined.
Yup, I looked back, and I don't see any evidence. In fact, the only suspicious person Trixie pointed at was you
Nope, not even one point on SLL, so I'll wait for that "proof".
Cute, but no cigar for you
In fact, there are tons of more suspicious people, like Mordokai with that sudden third point (in the old games I've read everyone kept reminding about wolves on third points).

Re: Fears 3: Full Circle - Game Started at Post 88
You ignore the fact that you can learn a lot by watching them as a villager too. But I never said I had an expert opinion on the matter. I only said I find her more likely to be one.
Again you're ignoring things. Not all evidence comes in red. You have to read and concentrate on context.
As for the third point, it has some value, but you gotta remember that everyone knows that rule, especially Mordokai being a long time player. Wolves can sidestep that without even trying.
But then I have to wonder why you're not pointing at Mordokai then?
What evidence do you have against Smellie Hippie if you're so certain that he's not only more suspicious than Trixie, but more suspicious than Mordokai as well?Last edited by Reinholdt; 2009-09-30 at 10:46 AM.

Re: Fears 3: Full Circle - Game Started at Post 88
Hmm.
I can't say I really like the "this may be a seer wagon or it may not" angle, it seems like it would make for less information since a lot of villagers would follow you on the chance that it is really a seer day. It's what happened in Phantom and it was one of the factors that nearly cost us the game. Would've, if it weren't for Dirk.
It doesn't look like the hippiewagon is going to get off the ground and we need a second option. Irbis really seems like she wants to be pointed at. Let's see what she's got.
@^ It wasn't really a specific statement on what's happening right now, just a general thing. But that is good to know.Last edited by Guancyto; 2009-09-30 at 01:23 PM.

Trixie
Is there any proof that SweetLikeLemons is a Power role? Assuming she was why did the wolves not night kill her? Does this strike anyone else as odd?
Then again what do i know? sigh

Oh my god... that's me!
Point at Trixie, this time in red for sure...
Oh and sanity: If Sweet is a power role than she propably was baned this night and the wolves didn't want to waste a night kill. If she's a wolf than maybe she's already scried and soon somebody stand up and says: "I'm a proxy, SweetLikeLemmons is bad". Until that happens we can safely assume that she's a good power role.Last edited by Zar Peter; 2009-09-30 at 01:35 PM.

Okay, I give up. Yes, I have a few additional reasons to protect Trixie, some of which I outlined in PM to Murska, but seeing as you're simply following wolves I won't bother anymore.

I have to agree with Geesi,Irbisis acting very strange and Trixie isn't defending herself.
As far as I can tell, Trixie didn't even point yesterday, except at Happyturtle, who was already dead.

Re: Fears 3: Full Circle - Game Started at Post 88
No, my dear Rheinsten, it was someone who first build that ridiculous (revenge?) bandwagon, giving wolves excellent place to hide, who then made my point suspicious, further guaranteeing no one would be mad enough to follow me.
Guess who that was, hero?
Okay, end for arguments for today.
