Only putting you up there as an alternate target in case both Lex-Kat and whitehelm both turn out to be wolves and they decide to risk it by steering it towards a third target. <Name Blanked Out> and I assume the other masons know you're one of those that is most likely innocent (unless you're Pettigrew )

Day 6 Ends

The chill rain dripped from his hat brim to his collar and Bilius Weasley whistled a cheerfully somber off-key tune as he ambled his way down the weedy lane. "Glorious, glorious..." he mumbled to himself, observing the weather-beaten fields, the low-hanging clouds and (from the corner of his eye) his unhappy brother.



"Don't know what you have to be so chipper about," grumbled Arthur, shivering and hitching up the collar of his muggle overcoat, "This weather is miserable to be out ina....ahhhh......CHOOO!" he sneezed, giving a great snorting sniff afterward, "and I thig I'm cadging a code." Arthur pulled a large hanky from his pocket and loudly cleared his sinuses. "Scurgify," he waved his wand at the hanky before stuffing it back in his pocket. "What are we doing out here, anyway, what did you want me to see?"



Bilius made no immediate reply, but continued strolling along, smiling at Arthur's discomfort. The only reason he liked this weather was because Arthur so disliked it. Most of his pleasures in life came from behaving contrarily to the norm, and he'd made something of a study of it. "Must remember to write of this to Aberforth," he thought to himself, "he'll appreciate it almost as much as I do."



"I'm not going a step further until you tell me what it's about," Arthur stomped to a halt, "why I agreed to set out in the first place I'll never know, but not one step further."



"Arthur, Arthur, come come, it's not far now. Just over this rise," Bilius beckoned and Arthur sighed, rolling his eyes before tiredly plodding after his brother.



Finally they topped the rise and Bilius pointed triumphantly at the stone foundation of an old church and a tiny graveyard only a few yards away, "There! Just there! What do you think of that?"



"What do I think of what?" snapped Arthur, "A ruin and some overgrown graves?"



"No, no, come, look closer," Bilius led the way to the first of the gravestones and indicated some deep water-filled indentations in the muddy earth beside it, "There, you see the prints?"



"Dog prints, so what?" Arthur's outrage was growing apace with the amount of rain water slipping down his back to soak the waistband of his undershorts.


"Not a dog! A Grim! I saw a Grim here yesterday! Right here! Can you believe it? Not 24 hours ago!" In truth Bilius didn't believe the dog he's seen was a Grim -- wasn't sure he even believed in Grims for that matter -- but the huge black dog had brought the old tales to mind and the prints of the beast had seemed perfect to annoy Arthur, especially when coupled with the wet, cold afternoon. He was enjoying himself immensely!



"A Grim?! Merlin's beard! You brought me all the way out here to see some damned dog prints and expect me to believe you saw a Grim? Do you honestly even believe in that Grim nonsense anyway? I swear, Bilius, I'll never listen to another word you say." Arthur turned away in utter disgust and drew his wand, preparing to depart for the warmth of home.



"But Arthur, it's true... wait...." As Arthur stalked back up the rise Bilius lunged after him, grabbing at his sleeve. It was at that moment that the weather with which he had hitherto been so pleased proved his downfall - literally. The sodden dirt of the hillside gave way and his feet flew out from under him.



"And furthermore...." Arthur turned back but his rant tapered off as he saw his brother lying face-down on the drenched grass. He ran back to Bilius but there was nothing to be done -- Bilius was dead, skull cracked on a tombstone and neck broken.



Arthur never again doubted either the Grim or the fate awaiting those who saw it.

Night 6 Ends

Lord Voldemort stood on the dark shores of Loch Ness contemplating the smooth glassy surface of the deep lake. The 'mythical' creature of this place was anything but, and he knew it to be a beast possessing remarkable magic, if only he could draw it to him. Several spells occurred to him and he dismissed them one by one as inadequate until finally he said, simply, "Accio."

His wand did not even jerk slightly. No crescent of waves formed and Lord Voldemort shook his head, it had been a silly attempt with such small magic but sometimes subtle was in his veins. Contorting his face into a smile he drew circles into the air with his wand until five shapeless shimmering forms began to glow above the lake. With that Lord Voldemort strode to a nearby tree and began to lean with apparent unconcern.

Leaning casually against the tree he closed his snakey eyes and listened. A low hum barely to be heard began and slowly built, drowning the sound of the wind. Far away a dog began to bark, followed by others until several hounds barked and bayed in the night. The shimmering forms spread and then flattened, forming a ring that spun faster and faster as the humming increased in volume and a whirlpool grew beneath the spinning, glowing ring.

The hum increased in pitch turning into a dull whine while the whirlpool grew. Several minutes later Lord Voldemort's eyes snapped open and he could see to the bottom of Loch Ness as the whirlpool stretched the entire kilometer and half width of the lake. Lord Voldemort smiled as he gazed upon the floor of the lake. His quarry was within his sights.

At that moment, six cloaked figures stepped from the shadows into the soft glow thrown by Voldemort's spell. Wands drawn they formed a half circle behind the Dark Lord. "You're done here." the leader said, "Throw down your wand and surrender." Voldemort's smile widened though he did not turn. His quarry, indeed, was here.

"I think not," the Dark Lord said. Six voices in rang out into the chill night air as blinding flashes of light drowned out the dull glow of Lord Voldemort's spell hovering over the lake. Lord Voldemort whipped his wand forward but it was too late and the spells struck him violently. The whirlpool instantly vanished and the dull whine ceased as Lord Voldemort's body hit the mossy shore face first and his blood began pooling.

"We did it. We've ended the war!" Came the cry from one the hooded six. The group let out a triumphant cheer and they began to circle the body of Lord Voldemort -- some were even kicking it with glee. One of the six kicked it so hard that the body turned over and they gasped. The body on the ground was not the Dark Lord.

Voldemort gazed up through the clear water at the dismayed members of Dumbledore's order as they recognized Dorcas Meadowes, one of their own. He then reached to the floor of the lake to retrieve his other objective in coming here: a single shimmery scale from the fabled Loch Ness Monster. It really was all too easy.

TehSheen Last day I gave you very solid reasons not to keep your point on Billtodamax in a PM. Despite this you kept your vote on someone you knew to be a member of FC's network. For this reason I suspect you may very well be Peter Pettigrew.

Aww. Why the heck do the wolves keep killing me in all the games where they know I'm a normal villager instead of trying to search for powerroles?

You know, I wasn't actually in contact with the network for some reason. So my apologies for voting for billtodamax. I'll go with Moofin Bard for my vote.

There was a horrible commotion in the secret headquarters of Dumbledore's minions. It was a an argument between friends that started to go south around the time House Elf and skulduggery were mentioned. One accidental spell later and a friend lay dead on the floor.

Hey, we're supposed to be voting! We don't want the day to go by without a vote and give the wolves a day off do we?

I still think we should be focusing on those that aren't in any networks, but I'm not as suspicious of Moofin Bard. Evnafets getting killed after being one of the few points against her seems too obvious. Instead I'm thinking Blue Ghost now. He was really desperate to get into Murska's network at the beginning, and since then he's been really low-key. I've been thinking he's a villager up until now, but maybe I've been wrong. (Plus he's another one that definitely wasn't in the network)
