The line is pretty long, so there will probably be a lot more comics up by the time it's my turn.

And I could definatly use the critisicsm. (Not that what you've already told me isn't helpful.)

But it's obvious that Neorice puts a lot of effort into the comic's original art and has actual spriting talent. It's not like he copy and pasted a bunch of Sonic sprites and saved them in jpeg, font set on comic sans.
I can understand people not liking digital art but... This is the Order of the Stick forum.

Now now, using a bunch of jpeg Sonic sprites with comic sans on a 2 second ms paint background isn't "bad art", it's just a stylistic choice.

Obviously those sprite comics are entirely and undeniably in the same league as my own.

2. It's usually the sign of a mediocre comic, as it means the creator generally hasn't put much thought in choosing fonts (and probably a lot of other things too).
3. It's ugly.

Actually, I tend to use comic sans for my Oots comics because it works well. I have tried out different fonts, but Comic Sans just seems to work perfectly with the style.

Yeah most of us use it for convenience... I use it as my Inkscape means i have to highlight the text and go into the font to change it...

The scary thing is I was actually listening to "Tribute" by Tenacious D whilst i read that comic...
The REALLY scary thing is i already had it running before even clicking on Q's comic review.

I assure you all, unlike everything else I do, this was not to antagonize Lyinginbedmon. But rather, the reason I did a song rip-off rather then the Remember review this week was homework related. See, it's ISU (Independent Study Unit) week at my highschool, which is, for any 83 year old foagies who may or may not be in the audience, a *&^%ing big project in every class that have UN-NEGOTIABLE due dates for some arbitrairy reason, and you can't miss the date you hand it in unless you were killed. And even then you need a doctor's note and to do it the day after.

These make up big chunks of my overall mark, and are serious business, so these came first. I only had one oppertuinity to write a comic this whole week, and it usually takes me an ENTIRE week to write a review. These reviews aren't the kind of thing you do all in one sitting. At least not for me. These are actually quite hard for me.

So, with one sitting, I decided to do a hilarious filler comic instead. An actually review will be next week.

I just found the "screen snatch" application on my new computer, and went a leeeeetle bit overboard.
By a little, I mean the insane asylum guys are coming to pick me up in a few hours.
And...um...this came out.

damn, photobucket made it super-small for some reason. Had to use imageshack.
I think the best thing you can do in this instance is think of it as fanart or something.
Or person art...cuz it's not really for your comic, I guess...
It's supposed to be a joke, please don't take it as otherwise.
