[Acro] GLoG 48: From the Ashes

The pixies turn to one another, shrug, then fly back to their work.

Fan be face palming with his free hand, but he squeezes her hand back.. He was gone for a long time, too long in fact, and a lot had happened, so he would allow Happy her comfort mechanisms.

"I still say I'm not a Hallucination, and if you need me to prove it, just say the word. Also. on a unrelated note, I picked Melody up a present."

He pulls out a small bear, the one Metta Clause had given him on his request, just because he got it for free doesn't make it any less meaningful.

"Oh, last time I lost my mind, I tried to kill someone. And the time before that, I did kill someone. So, it's nice to know that this time I'm just having a hallucination of someone I care about."

"That's sweet of you. Just as I would have hallucinated."

[Fan]

"Happy. Look. I know this was hard for you, with the blowing up of GLoG by Drakens freaky bug things, and the Cat People army, and Butlers death and all that other jazz... But you have to realize that this is really me. Not a Hallucination, not some image your mind made up to help you cope with stress.

ME. Fanboy Amikir. No one else."

That's probably what a mindghost would say! Atticus says, hopefully. The small halfling's approaching Happy, tentatively, trying to get her attention, obviously terrified of Fan, and trying to slide his way into the conversation neatly.

Happy just smiles and puts an arm around Fan's waist, not convinced in the least.

"I agree. He shouldn't try so hard to make me disbelieve him though. It would just make him disappear," she says to Atticus. "Hi, I don't think we've met."

[Fan]

Fan sighs, his brow furrowing in thought as he tries to think up a way to convince her... But this wasn't exactly his strong suit, so he decided to simply ask.

"You know what Happy... I'm simply going to ask you. What would it take to convince you I'm not a mind ghost. If you want. This young man here can even choose to prove it isn't a mind illusion when I answer it, or do it."

"How about I ask you. Why do you need to convince me? I promise, I'm not about to go running off and dating other people now that I'm widowed. I'll even hallucinate sharing a bunk with you."

[Kaelaroth]

I'm Atticus, ma'ammiss. Methinks I want to join, but amn't sure. What kind of place is this, and what do I have to do? You say you help dos-evil, but I don't know what evil is. Atticus says, curious.
Still, obviously, scared of the vamp.

[Fan]

"How about I ask you. Why do you need to convince me? I promise, I'm not about to go running off and dating other people now that I'm widowed. I'll even hallucinate sharing a bunk with you."

"Because being reffered to as a Hallucination makes me uncomfortable, and I'd rather you believe you were actually sharing experiances with me then hallucinating every good thing that happens."'

That last part makes Fan a sad panda. :nodnod:

Which looks rather odd when you have a mouth full of fangs, and glowing red eyes.

She's sorry that hallucination Fan is sad, but she knows that real Fan is with Nierain and safe and happy. So it's okay! She gives him another squeeze as she answers Atticus.

"An evil act is one that intentionally causes pain or suffering to someone else," Happy says to Atticus. "Unless it's necessary to defend yourself, it's wrong to hurt others."

[Kaelaroth]

OK.. Why you, or we, help evil, then? He asks.

[happyturtle]

"We help teach people that do evil the right way to behave so they won't do it anymore."

[Fan]

"By help evil, we mean help them see the... misgivings of their past, and to see the light of helping others to redeem themselves in the eyes not only others, but to help build up their own self."

He says with a nod.

And it sputters out seconds after Happy says it... Fan looks rather embarrased.

[Kaelaroth]

So me will has to teach? Confused!
As the smiley might suggest...

"Not you nessecarily, and not quite yet either. I think it's mostly the senior members like Happy here, and myself, although with far less success, who attempt the redemption of the wicked, and or misunderstood with a slightly dark past. You merely need state good intentions to stay here."

He says, slipping between eras of speech happens when one is older then most civilizations.

"You can also teach by setting a good example," Happy says.

Atticus says he'll consider joining, and is then deadtimed!

The pixies begin work on building the infirmary first.

Cornelius Blanc approaches the area once more, intent on actually doing something here this time.

And Brendan is sitting inside in a homemade chair, leaning back and looking thoughtful.

Ashna is eating a bowl of soup, and waving at Brendan. What are you thinking on?

[The Bushranger]

Brendan looks over, smiles, and waves back. "Hm? Oh...well, I was just thinking about how new beginnings are sometimes, and stuff like that..."

[Recaiden]

Ah. Try to learn from the old beginning, I suppose.

[The Bushranger]

"If at first you don't succeed, try, try again?"
Smiling, Brendan stands and heads to get a glass of water, aiming a kiss for Ashna's cheek on his way past.

[Recaiden]

Riight. Sometimes even if you do succeed. Ashna tries to turn and make the kiss on their lips.

[The Bushranger]

She's successful!

"Good point." Brendan chuckles after reluctantly pulling away, and goes to fix up some food as his player has to run, having a long day ahead tomorrow.

[Recaiden]

It can always be improved. Ashna would go to help him with the food.

She's been trying to fix up some of the room whilst deadtimed.

And she really needs a project to do, maybe a specific cabin/room to unbury from the layers of snow and ice and dust and disuse?
