Digimon: Tamer Wars(Group 1)

[Taisuru]

Kotemon raises his blade to block the attack, and follows up with a Fire Mask counter attack, and Taisuru maneuvers closer and slices at the Goblimon.

[Jayngfet]

Kotemon's blade blocks the stick, though it comes off as unusually light for a heavy club. The fire mask swings and looks to hit the goblimons large jaw, but passes through it like air.

The blade slash also seems to fall short, as it tries to hit the monsters large, muscular shoulder and finds the limb deep in the illusion. The tip however does make a smaller cut on the shoulder.

"Kohenkyo"

Before the other attacks can reach it, the goblimon holds still and fades into a light shower of falling leaves, brown, orange, and dark green.

A rush of air as it reappears behind Selena, in it's true form shows through as a foxlike creature before the goblimon shape returns. A half a dozen more appear around it and the sky fills with DemiDevimon, batlike wings flapping.

The whole image seems to blur for a moment before they all appear to have changed positions.

[Dusk Eclipse]

Clones and more illusions, hey digimons with ranged attack nuke all the images you can!! Daniel starts punching and kicking whatever image comes close to him

[Taisuru]

"Ah, so that's the game is it? You're a Renamon. I've heard of no natives in this area, so either you serve the local warlord or you were chased here by something else."

Taisuru and Kotemon get back to back to more easily fend off attacks.

[Jayngfet]

"Right, kick her ass!" Blackagumon lets off a pepper breath as Ryu fires another blade. The breath hits a demidevimon, passing through without an effect. Obviously at least some are illusions as well. A goblimon leaps and the breath hits the computer ship colored path, leaving a black patch.

"Her?!? I'll kick your ass for that you midget! You're dealing with the badass leader digimon of the HTML Tamers and his awesome might!" The voice doesn't come from any renamon in particular, all around you as if a part of the illusion.

The blade misses and flies into the trunk of an oak tree, and all other attacks hit illusions that seem unaffected by attacks.

[Taisuru]

"Damn! Looks like this warlord has some tamers under his control. Watch out everyone, there's likely a few more than just this Renamon!"

[Falconknight06]

Oh damn! Michael says with a start at the blur of fighting that has erupted. Elecmon, use Super Lightning Strike, one each of the nine balls at one illusion then move quickly!

Got it Michael Elecmon says, as its nine tails stand up and a ball of blue lightning forms at the tip of each. The balls of lightning then launch at blinding speed, each aimed at a different illusion

Finally! Your strike hits a DemiDevimon! The illusion fades for a moment to reveal a cream and green colored shape for a moment, before reverting to it's illusion farm.

A whirlwind appears around it as it charges, hitting elecmon and flying upwards before the small tornado halts, dumping elecmon out of the gust and causing him to fall to the earth from several meters in the air.

Elecmon also seems to have been struck a few times in the course of the whirlwind, by what the illusion hides.

[Viera Champion]

This isn't even a fair fight! Salamon! Use puppy howling! Hopefully, it's distracting effect will cause only the real ones to turn and look, then we fight whatever ones do.

[Godna]

Patrick watches the fight a fair distance off while whispering to Impmon.

"I want you to get some where with a good view and summon as many Ice shards as you can. When I give the signal let them fly. I'll try and get the group out of the way."

Patrick begins walking closer toward the fray. He leaves the collected fragments of his Coat with a rock holding the pile together. He scans the entire area with his digivice as he goes. Keeping a bead on the Renamon while moving stealthily after scanning the entire area for other digimon.

He waits behind a tree while he waits for Impmon to get into position. "This would be a good time to know how to use the digivice. I'm fairly sure it has a short range radar like thing." He think when suddenly he notices Impmon nearing his destination.

Patrick looks back toward the fray, and noticing that the area where his digivice was saying Renamon was just empty air. Patrick deliberated a moment, "Lets hope I'm right about this. I've already made of a fool of myself too many times." before making a leap and Striking anyway. He soared through the air briefly before the Boken made contact with something Invisible, and He hit it hard with the momentum that was carrying him in the Air adding to the force.

[Jayngfet]

Several Goblimon continue fighting, though a couple hesitate for a moment. As Impmon prepares his technique one realises whats going on.

"Thats your plan eh, I'll match you blow for blow! Diamond storm!"

"Summoning"

Shards meet shards, several collide in the air, and the haphazard nature of the attack causes several to miss. However several hit Impmon and Renamon.

The strike hits air. Apparently none of the digimon are outright invisible.

[Godna]

Patrick seeing one of the figures returning Impmon's fire. Makes a Leap to strike it while its back is turned to him. The blow landed a good foot over where the illusionary Goblimon showed her being.

OOC: sorry it was kind of confusing. I could just edit that out.

[Taisuru]

Upon seeing the Renamon using her attack, Kotemon and Taisuru break from their guard, and run up to attack.

"THUNDER GAUNTLET" Shouts Kotemon, his arm crackling with electricity. Taisuru attempts to swing shortly after the stunning effect of the Thunder Gauntlet.

[Jayngfet]

Another Goblimon lets loose a Gobli bomb attack, striking Kotemon in the back and cutting off the combo with a small blue boom.

Renamon dissapears with a small burst of leaves and re appears directly behind Tai, letting loose a kick to the back.

Renamon tilts it's head and says "But-" before being cut off by something unseen

"Fine. Retreat!" A few seconds of blur and all digimon dissapear.

The world shakes, and everything around you begins falling away, everything shatters and melts til all that remains is a single floating island amidst a howling black void. You can feel the wind biting exposed skin.

A chain erupts from the ground, wicked and black before striking Impmon arm. Impmon lets out a cry of pain as electricity travels down the chain into him. This is a very strange, odd experience.

[Falconknight06]

Elecmon, move to ground the electricity from impmon, just channel the electricity around you using your own electric ability Michael will say to Elecmon as the two move towards impmon. Elecmon presses one tail against the chain, the other eight touching the ground. Using his natural conductance, he tries to channel the electricity to the ground before it reaches impmon.

[Viera Champion]

Salamon stands in front of Selena trying to protect her, which looks silly cuz Selena is much larger.

[Dusk Eclipse]

Crap... where did they go Daniel looks at the surroundings trying to discern where did they hid.

[Jayngfet]

Elecmon manages to intercept the current. However he finds that once he's touched the chain he can't let go. He's stuck to it, probably because it feels rather sticky, more than a metal chain should.'

You're surroundings are rather simple. One floating island that looks more or less the same as it was in the old environment(path like computer chip, a couple of trees and bushes). Everything else is a formless black void with the cold wind howling loudly an constantly, you literally appear to be floating on nothing.

D-does anyone know what's going on?
Selena sounds frightened.

[Jayngfet]

"I, I, I don't know!"Impmon stammers, still a bit pained from the shock his unnatural shackle that's still bound to him.

Ryu and his tamer stare uneasily at the howling void. It ...it almost sounds like some sort of laughter.

"Cowards, get the hell back here and fight fair!"BlackAgumon shouts into the void, which laughs back with the strange wind.

[Viera Champion]

Selena starts walking backwards, slowly, frightened. She has forgotten that there is a steep drop into nothing, behind her.

[Jayngfet]

Selena and Salamon step back. They appear to fall, then vanish from view!

[Falconknight06]

Selena! Michael yells, running towards where the two fell, over judging his jump as he sails off the edge after them.

MICHAEL! Elecmon yells as he struggles to follow his partner, but it is all for naught as he is stuck fast to the chain

[Jayngfet]

Michael falls after, dissapering from sight quickly after.

"SOMEONE STOP LEEROY JENKINS OVER THERE!" BlackAgumon shouts, as Michael dissapears from view.

Ryudamon stares at the falling Michael, looking at him calculatingly.

[Jayngfet]

...a disembodied hand appears from thin air at the edge of the floating island. It extends a bit, showing hints of an arm behind it. No body visible or any connection to it and the ground, though it does look human.

[Dusk Eclipse]

At the sight of the disembodied hand, daniel tenses and shoutsPatrick, Impmon, Tai, Kotemon, Blackagumon on your guard I don't like this

He falls into his combat stance eyeing the hand catiously.

Show yourself!

[Taisuru]

"Don't be telling me what to do rookie! Looks like we might have a harder fight than first expected!"

Taisuru pulls up his sleeve, revealing a red Digivice 01. He activates the scanner and checks both the hand and the chains.

[Jayngfet]

The digivice reads: "Unknown" on the hand and "electro thread" on the chain.

[Viera Champion]

Behind the hand, an arm appears, then a shoulder, and before you know it, Selena is back on the floating rock thingy with everyone else. Solomon appears behind her.

[Taisuru]

"Electro Thread? A Kunemon?" Taisuru realises the illusion, and runs up and cuts those who are wrapped in chains free.
