Agreed. Sell off one or two of the dead animals and buy salt. Then ford any more wounds with salt.

He was probably fighting off the bears. Better use that antiseptic, just to be safe.

Apply alcohol to the wound. That way, when the vampires attack him first because he's covered in blood, they'll get drunk and be easy prey for the rest of the gang.

Though seriously, why is applying antiseptic an option? I'm pretty sure people didn't catch on to the idea that washing your hands before sticking them into an open wound was a good thing until the 1860's.

So, yeh. Anyone amazed that we've only lost 1 person of the whole group? Seriously. I think all of us are now travelling on sheer willpower/mortal fear of vampires.

We decided to treat his wounds with antiseptic, and then move on. However, we didn't make it far before Anatharon's problems were brought to my attention again.

Do you mean to propose that we tinker with this poor man's health? We don't even know what this aliment is. It would be pure malpractice to attempt cures with our current knowledge.

    Continue as usual.

Well, if he's bleeding, that means he still has blood, so it wasn't a vampire attack. Probably a werewolf then, or else Aragehaor's angry spirit possessing another caravan member and stabbing him in his sleep.

Give him some of that "antiseptic" you got from the nice man with the big blue box.

I'm pretty sure they had both laudanum and camphor back then, even if using either of them to treat a concussion probably isn't a great idea.

I say leeches for the bleeding, cut him and drain him for reddening, and olive oil for the pain.

If he sees the angry ghost of Aragehaor, it was ghost attacks. If the ghost encourages him to commit suicide?

Werewolf of London. Shoot him in the head.

Otherwise, it was probably ninja loansharks. Who can be ignored for now.

Yes, but they didn't know what a concussion was. The modern brain anatomy is still poorly understood today, nevermind the understanding of the 19th century.

Dress the wound up in a little girly girl dress. And tell him to suck it up.

Ah, yes, definitely...uh, whoever shot him with a shotgun must have been possessed. Er, thus clearing them of all charges, right? So there's no reason to try and find out who did it.

Bury him face down so he just digs himself deeper when he comes back to life; it's an anti-vampire trick I read about somewhere.

What? I've, uh, always been here. Just... with another wagon. Yeah.

Although a few people protested, we dropped Anatharon at the side of the road, then quickly moved on. It was by no means anything personal, but we couldn't risk him turning into a vampire... Or worse. As we continued, we kept our eyes to our backs, just in case.

Nothing. We were safe, for now. Maybe all the talk about supernatural creatures were just legends after all. Maybe there was nothing to fear...

But for the moment, we had more pressing matters.
