Yesterday, the girlfriend of one of my friends was very surprised when I told her about my 30th birthday party. She was surprised because she idn't believe that I was 30. She said she had figured me for being in my mid 20s or thereabouts.

I don't really know if that's because her boyfriend looks older than he is, or if I really do look younger than I am, or a combination of both. When I look at myself in the mirror, I seem to find more and more grey hairs each day.

Well, those are a difference of a couple of years. In my case, she thought I was nearly 10 years younger than I really am.
Hell, I'll be 35 later this year.
Then again, i did get asked to provide ID to be able to buy alcohol a couple of years ago, when the legal limit in Sweden is 20 and I was 31 or 32 at the time.

Same here. Interestingly, I seem to look younger as I grow older, because when I was mid-twenties a new colleague at lunch break estimated I'd be "at least thirty". It became amusing when she tried to save face and explained that might be because I always came across so "reputable".
Cue my colleagues bursting out in laughter - mind you, that was the time when I came to the office wearing leather trousers and Hypocrisy shirts.

Also, I need to shave. You know, I've noticed something really strange with my beard. The right side (for me) grows faster than the left. This means my beard is longer on one side than the other, which is BIZARRE. Any thoughts on why?

Hi.... this is Mugen, from the manga "D Gray-man". Mugen means "infinite" in Japanese, but can also mean "six illusions" -and six is the number of attacks this particular katana has, which are coincidentally named "illusions".


I personally crafted her out of wood, so it's not the size of a standard katana because I built her for a cosplay and Mugen is specially made to fit the wielder's build (for some reason it reaches up from the floor to the base of his sternum, so I built it that exact same way)... the curvature is also insufficient in comparison to that of a "real" katana, but it's rather difficult to make round shapes with wood, so I curved it as much as I could without ruining the material...

Forgive the clutter on my desk, but I just got back from university and have just changed into a comfortable shirt, now I only have to try and get my hair to cooperate with me and stay put. XD

....also, you can deduce from the massive amount of eye-care products behind me just how near-sighted I exactly am. X°°°D
