Cool; I like that word. I've been wondering if this one should be about Lloyd since he's the only one I haven't written about specifically in the OotS-verse yet (Matt obviously being in my Belkar x Matt piece and Radic and Janine putting in a guest appearance in my Nale x Sabine fic).

Um...this is a really nice comic, as I stated previously...
...So I wanted to ask the mighty artist,

that... Well, it is clear that you like people writing fanfics of your story, but...I was wondering, what is your policy to fanart?
I ask because, I'm going through a period...where that is the (almost) only thing I can draw and...

And because I really like your story, I was wondering...Would you mind if I drew something, really small...

Now that sounds fun to write... *schemes* *pauses* Aw man, there went my "no pairings" statement... Unless they're not attracted to each other and Mamma D's misreading their somewhat Bromantic but still for the most part heterosexual friendship leading to some really really awkward moments that might just bring us even more hilarity than actual romance... *gets back to scheming*

So...I did draw some preliminary skeches...
I think I shall draw one proper picture per main character once I'll come up with a passable theme or something.
...Though I'll probably sketch a little more first. ;)

These two pics here, well 47,1% of them is okay(yes, I counted that), the rest...hmm...
They're drawn only by pencil and since my skanner sucks, I had to photograph them...well, I suppose the result could be worse... I think my computer flattened them a little.

The party had ran into a dead end.

Not a literal dead end, but the kind where you don't know what to do next.

"Great, so now what?" Matt groaned, still hung over from yesterday.

"We could try looking around in the nearby city, i bet someone there has a quest for us" Janine said.

"You mean...THAT city" Tinder pointed to the north "Err...you do realize that half the population of that place consists of either homicidal madmen or complete idiots?"

"I am aware, but it's either that or wander around in the wilderness without a goal, and the other half of the population is at least somewhat reasonable" Lloyd argued.

"Urk, my head, it hurts..." Matt whined.

"Really, Matt, it's not our fault you decided to spend all of last night drinking" Radic scolded.

Lloyd rolled his eyes "Let's just get going, the sooner we start the sooner we find a quest, and the sooner we find a quest the sooner we can get as far away from that place as possible"

"I have a bad feeling about this" Tinder muttered.

LATER, IN THE CITY.

"Alright, here we are, let's look around, but don't wander to far, we need to be able to get to each other quickly if something happens" Lloyd ordered.

"I take the whorehouses!" Matt said.

Radic just glared the evil glare of death (tm) at him.

"Matt...i don't think you are going to find any quests in a whorehouse" Tinder reasoned.

"...Awww" Matt pouted.

"...where did Janine go?" Lloyd asked as he looked around, Janine was nowhere in sight "Oh for the love of Astrid!"

"I take that tavern over there" Tinder said before hurrying off.

"Lloyd, Matt just left" Radic informed him.

Lloyd turned around, and yup, Matt was gone.

"I take a look at the market" And with that Radic disappeared as well.

Lloyd just sighed before going off in his own direction.

Matt was grinning like an idiot as he climbed in through the brothels second floor window, pay at the entrance? Hell no! Matt Silver were taking the cheap entrance.

To bad he managed to climb in on a big muscular guy with a oversized sword that was clearly compensating for something.

Said guy was not happy about being interrupted during his...business.

And so it was that Matt was once again running for his life.

Really, can't he even show himself in public without everyone trying to kill and skin him?

He was getting just a little bit sick of the stereotype that green dragons were always evil and okay to slaughter on sight.

And how many ranks in Knowledge (Arcana) did that damn bartender have anyway?

Radic ran.

Really, it was just her luck that on her way to the market she would be assaulted by a gang of would-be rapists and/or robbers.

They clearly hadn't been expecting her to turn into a bear and shred one of them, but in the end there had been to many of them and she was sent running down the back alleys of the city with a bunch of murderous criminals hot on her heels.

"AHHHHHHHH!"

Was that Matt's voice?

And at that moment Matt came rushing out of an adjacent alleyway, colliding headfirst with Radic, sending them both to the ground.

They both saw what was chasing the other, and they screamed before getting up and running down a third path.

Janine was stalking Lloyd again

Lloyd was arguing with another paladin.

"It says in the racial description that goblins are Evil! It's okay to kill him!"

"NO! It's not, did it ever cross your mind that there are exceptions? That this individual might be one of those?" Lloyd argued.

"You are a naive fool, there is no such thing as a non-evil goblin, the only good goblin is a dead goblin!"

The goblin in question whimpered "I had no choice! I would starve to dea-"

"SILENCE GOBLIN!" The paladin slapped the goblin, knocking several teeth out.

Let's just say that Lloyd's patience ran out at that moment.

Let's also say that the other paladin had friends.

Let's also say that Lloyd was forced to grab the goblin and start running like crazy.

So basically another day in the life?

Although honestly
A. If I were one of the criminals chasing Radic why would I be chasing someone who could turn into a dire bear?
B. Lloyd epically failed his Diplomacy check. He'd turn the goblin in to the local authorities.

[Closak]

A: Because they are idiots, and don't care about their own well being as long as they get to horribly murder someone.
And more dangerous targets just makes the thrill of the kill that much better.

B: Yeah, epic diplomacy fail, with a nasty circumstance penalty for the other paladin being pigheaded and refusing to accept any other solution than executing the goblin.

For the record, the goblin stole a loaf of bread.

Anyway, that story was totally out of character. Most of the party is Good-aligned. Here's how it should have happened:
