Re: Pirates V The WW Game. Setting Sail!
But not attacking you wouldn't put much suspicion on you, not nearly as much as getting me lynched as baner would? It's just, getting me killed is a lot more important to them than getting you killed even if you are the fool.

Murska
If he really was the baner why protect Castaras? He would know she was either the fool or the wolf, and the fool dying just means the seer knows who they are.

Re: Pirates V The WW Game. Setting Sail!
I explained my reasons for protecting Castaras in my post, which I deemed sufficiently clear.
It was something I think would've been unexpected. That is also the reason for my point; from my point of view, the reasons for the wolves to act as they did are either 1: Castaras is a wolf or 2: They expected my move. I prefer to think number 1 is more likely.

Re: Pirates V The WW Game. Setting Sail!
Very well. I give up on this argument, because I just can't win.
I'm pretty certain I'm the seer. I'm pretty certain Murska's a lying cheating thieving pirate. Lynch me if you want, I'm not a wolf.

Re: Pirates V The WW Game. Setting Sail!
I imagine after 7 nights, the seer or fool has a good idea of which they are. I'd also imagine that if Cas wasn't the one still alive, that either through proxy if seer or through outing if fool we'd know Cas was a pirate. That hasn't happened, so I must presume Cas is the seer. The baner in such a situation, should it not be Murska, couldn't afford to out himself to counter Murska's claims or become helpless.
So...Murska.Last edited by Reinholdt; 2010-05-31 at 09:06 AM.

Re: Pirates V The WW Game. Setting Sail!
Cas claimed to have no idea which one she is. She's also provided no other proof whatsoever than to have scried me as a pirate, which is not true.. That, and she wasn't attacked last night. Whereas I've claimed to be the baner and given you a bunch of targets I've baned as well as thorough logical analysis on what I've done and why.

Re: Pirates V The WW Game. Setting Sail!
Wolves frequently don't attack seer claimants while the baner is out there. Some sort of combination of paranoia and hoping to get the baner while he's busy. So not being attacked last night is far from abnormal.
As for your bunch of targets, you gave two with reasoning that anyone could have given, which was anything but a thorough logical analysis.Last edited by Reinholdt; 2010-05-30 at 11:25 AM.

Re: Pirates V The WW Game. Setting Sail!
And now you come here swinging insults when you haven't done anything yourself? Yeah, screw that.
Ignoring Rein, the baner is also out in the open and the fool(assuming she isn't a wolf) is accusing him, meaning they kill the fool and then get the baner easily lynched the following day. Two powerroles and no risk to themselves.

Re: Pirates V The WW Game. Setting Sail!
I'm not sure what insults you're referring to.
And that doesn't logically follow either. If you kill the fool, then it becomes public knowledge she is the fool, the baner doesn't get lynched and is pretty much confirmed. Presuming this is the worst case scenario of fool vs. baner.

Re: Pirates V The WW Game. Setting Sail!
It becomes public knowledge s/he is the seer/fool. Thus making it easy to lynch the baner.
I realize I should've protected Shadow last night but your insinuating on how I've failed because my logic in protecting Cas instead was 'anything but thorough' is pretty much an insult.

Re: Pirates V The WW Game. Setting Sail!
If it becomes public knowledge that she's the seer, then you're lying and not the baner. If it becomes public knowledge that she's the fool, then you don't get lynched. Either way the baner doesn't get lynched.
I think you're overreacting. I'm not saying you didn't have logic behind any banes you may have done, I'm saying the list you gave us and the reasons why weren't really a thorough logical analysis presentation as you made it out to be. I was talking about your explanation to us, not any success or failures you may have had.

Re: Pirates V The WW Game. Setting Sail!
Oh? That's odd. I've never paid much attention since it's clear in 99% of the cases which is which after night 3 at the least.(which is something that makes me suspicious of Cas. No idea which she is by now?)

Actually do we need to lynch either of them right now?

Re: Pirates V The WW Game. Setting Sail!
I don't like this at all. It smells way too much like Classic. If in a situation where two people are accusing each other and one is likely to be a wolf, you should never lynch random third parties but instead roll the dice and confirm the situation one way or another.
At least that's how I feel. However, I'd prefer not to be lynched today in any case.
