Mmmmkay, I don't like that. As they are heading back to the beach, they get harrassed by monkeys. Hour 4 is an encounter (in the jungle); I'll figure out what after they handle the monkeys.

A second monkey falls from the trees above. The remainder pelt you with rotten fruit and excrement, then run off through the trees, shrieking. You can try to pursue if you want.

(Not rolling attacks, because it was about 20 monkeys; at least one had to have hit you, and I don't want to have to roll 20 times...)

It's currently mid afternoon. Maybe 5 hours of light left.

Zain looks at the monkeys in disgust Dinner...I presume? We should start camp...if we get an early rise, we may stumble across some sleepers if we do hit civilisation, it would be good to hold the initiative.

"We've a few hours of light left. In the wilderness, we'd better make the most of it. I certainly don't want to make camp just yet. Staying in the same place for twelve hours is certain to attract predators. Besides, we've enough monkey for breakfast tomorrow and dinner tonight, so we don't have to worry about gathering food." Kraith moves to continue their trek, though he does so slowly. He is prepared to wait fro Zain.

I had assumed so, yes. The monkeys changed nothing, in the long run. We got food, but we had to spend time dealing with them to get it, so it's a pretty fair trade in game terms.
