Re: Bibliography II
Arts page. Damn. That means those of us without artistic talent can't contribute. Oh well, I'll be following it closely nonetheless.
Such a sad update! Though I always like the art of Tony's father. Something about him strikes me as awesome. Jacques' "lighter" is a nice touch too. And The way the knight-doll was drawn. A very good update, all around.

Re: Bibliography II
Ben should complain about how Terry "acts like a shonen manga character".

Re: Bibliography II
Is Terry wearing a visor? Or did he blow a hole through it with his outrageous hair ala Doumeki Kai?

Re: Bibliography II
Wanted to read it earlier, but didn't have time and kind of forgot.
It's great Awesome to see someone do something original, with the Pages and all
Just hate the fact that (well at least in chapter 8, which I just started) the bad guy is russian. It's something that I encountered before and it started to bug me. Why are all russian characters in webcomics always the bad guys?Last edited by Hyoumu Yau; 2010-08-14 at 04:25 PM.

Re: Bibliography II
Moreover Jackie might still be a good guy. She was painted as a thug at first, but we don't know anything about her true motives or how much she knows about what's going on with Victor. I predict that Jacques goes to her for help in the future to deal with Global Minds.

Re: Bibliography II
It is, but it still doesn't change the fact that this particular one is evil.
It's not that I don't agree that idiots and bad people exist everywhere, but why aren't there any good russian guys in webcomics?
I know that I take it to seriously, but it's just... you know, saddening. I just hate prejudices.
Even then, randomly attacking not privy(don't know if that one was correct ^^° ) bystanders is not something that can be considered good.Last edited by Hyoumu Yau; 2010-08-14 at 04:53 PM.

Oh, and a question.
The name of the sword - Liehai Jian - from what language was it taken? Or did you just make that up?

Re: Bibliography II
Because many webcomics are made by Americans and the Soviet Union provides an easy explanation for someone to be against the American protagonist?
In this case I think it's just because Russia have areas above the Polar circle and Jacques needs a nemesis/opposite to fight and perhaps team up with at some point.
But you do have a point in there being too few good guy Russians in Webcomics, I think I'll have some if I ever get to making my own comicTreasured Quotes

Re: Bibliography II
Well, to be honest, we don't actually KNOW he/she is a bad guy. Cruel, yes, but so is the power he/she draws from. Antagonistic for the moment, yes. But appearing for such a short time doesn't mean that he/she is evil to the core and going to stay that way. Maybe the beat down Jaques delivered could change him/her for the better. Maybe something else will happen down the line. I just say it's a little early to say.

Re: Bibliography II
His or her gender isn't actually ever specified, and at some point on the old thread, there had been comments to this effect.

Re: Bibliography II
Huh, I could be mistaken, I guess. Ch7pg16, last panel looks very female to me. And eyes throughout look more feminine than masculine. But I guess it's never actually stated.

New page up.
Lately I've been heavily unsatisfied with my work, spending at least two hours on every panel. It's been really, really bugging me.

Re: Bibliography II
Every artist needs a break sometimes. Sometimes it's for the better.
Think of it this way; good things come for those who wait. If Elagune takes a rest, he can come back making things awesomer than they already are.
