Cause the man with the boots gave no response Andy's attention draw to Len watching him fighting. Up to the moment the other guy set the bar on fire Andy just watch, but then he stand up heading for the exit. In the moment he made half way he saw Tobias hit by the bullets.

Ermine peeks out from under it from time to time. She seems to have a bottle of booze under there too.

The non-flammable foam puts out the fire! Unless Riv did something to make it more than a regular fire.

The little mustlide takes another swig and looks a bit downcast.

Dorotha raises her eyebrows and doesn't respond immediately. Oh. Well, as Crissy might have told you, it's a result of using my hair-coloring potion with some of Mrs. Erin's hair. They were originally black and then turned white by magic and, well... anything could have happened.

I didn't know she used to have black hair. Kevin, eager to talk about anything that doesn't make him look like a fool, looks at her curiously. Do you normally test potions out on yourself?

No. I tested the potion on mice and guinea pigs before I gave it to Crissy and myself. Trying Mrs. Erin's hair was a bit of a gamble, though. She nods.

Some Earth Druids have known for a long time how to bring out the magic properties of certain rocks and gemstones, but, I actually discovered that cutting gems in certain ways can focus their powers into different, fine effects. Kevin sounds rather proud, and he should be: Incredibly intellectual and academic wizards are not able to do what this simple "country bumpkin" has taught himself. Like that diamond amulet I gave Crissy. I cut it in a way so that it makes her stronger, but if I cut the same stone in a different way, it would protect her from damage.

Ah, so it's druidism rather than arcane enchantment. Not unlike alchemy, too. I've recently started to branch out into making magic amulets myself recently... to broaden the Emporium's offer. I've only tried making the simplest ones so far, though.
