    Default Buffing a golem

Through a bit of luck and a bit of creativity on our part, our party just got ahold of a greater stone golem. It's pretty awesome on its own, but I'd like to make it better. The immunity to any magic that allows SR makes it kind of difficult though. Any suggestions on spells that will help us buff it and don't allow SR?
If build a man a fire, he'll be warm for a day.

If you set a man on fire, he'll be warm for the rest of his life.

put buffs on items, then put the items on the golem?

and if it is willing, does that go over the immunity?

In the past, I played Sir Theo Roost.
I am soon to begin playing his heir, Dora the Destroya

Unlike Spell Resistance, you cannot willingly lower spell immunity.

Since Spell Immunity can't be lowered you have to go with magic items. If it is wearing/using the item itself its SR doesn't apply (just like your SR doesn't apply to spells you cast) so if you want to buff it then you'll have to pay a pretty penny.

Just enchant items and use duct tape, sovereign glue, or whatever else is available to attach them.

As it's still a stone golem, Stone to Flesh will negate it's magic immunity for 1 round - which lets you put on long-duration buffs (like Greater Mage Armor (Spell Compendium), Greater/Superior Resistance (Also Spell Compendium), Energy Immunity (likewise, Spell Compendium), Greater Magic Fang (Core - it's got natural weapons, after all), and so on). It'll take a LOT of work to make use of that particular technique, though.
Of course, by the time I finish this post, it will already be obsolete. C'est la vie.
