Finally, I wanna start a Hastur cult in Inside . They aren't gonna cause any apocalypses any time soon, but I thought they might be a cool plot hook to dangle at players.

I would say it's no more magic than any music is. Point is, whether or not one defines it as magic, it isn't detected or negated by things designed to detect or negate magic. The hellfire on the other hand is magic, although nowhere near as powerful as it sounds.

No, not yet. He has left the caves, as I suppose he would've gotten lost without something else to mark his way, and I'll be posting for him there either later this afternoon or another day.

On that note, by the by, I won't be on most of tomorrow, night or day, and most of the day Saturday.

It does something no normal music should be able to. Normal music doesn't have the effect of that magnitude. Music that makes people angry just because they hear it is magic, period.

I do strongly beg to differ. Bacchantes didn't spring out of nowhere, and if there's any instrument which can wrench in the real world, the flute is very near the top of the list (just before drums, and perhaps behind the violin, although strings don't speak to me).

Sigh whenever people start hurling spells, Zeno just happens to be deadtimed. He'd disarm a situation pretty fast as he can be a walking anti-magic field.

Which I remind you would void spell-like abilities, and supernatural ones. No bard music, mind control or siductive auras. The vampire's natural speed and strenth on the other hand would still be a problem.
