My rule is for a campaign, they should always have a chance to win, even if its bittersweet. Playing for two months or more, only to have 'YOU LOSE LOL!'at the end is lame. In fact, the proper campaign I'm running should be doable with no PC deaths.

Suggestions!

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Haven't seen any of the first FMA, the second one's more true to the manga. And is awesome. Doesn't have the 'TINY MINISKIRTS' scene, but has funny moments, and switches from hilarious to serious amazingly well in the same scene.

Bleach/Naruto/One Piece. Story in all three... is somewhat lacking, to be honest, but they're fun to watch in a similar way that DBZ is, except the action is faster-paced and the fight scenes are somewhat higher quality. Japanese Death Gods/Ninjas/PIRATES. All three are fun, I haven't watched too much of One Piece, though (read the manga instead).

I did a one shoot campaign. Actually took over another DM's game when she wanted out. I dropped them several plot hooks which they promptly ignored and wandered off into the wild. So I threw monsters at them till they were all dead. It was a good time seeing which player lasted the longest.

I know I'm a Little late with this but as far as metal goes the are many many types take The Morning After - Lost In Time for example. Mostly understandable and a good tune.

Ilyena has a perfectly good IC reason to be watching that field, ever since he sold Mercury out... also, it's a universal law of RP. If your character pisses off a lot of people, expect them to want to take revenge.

This frustration you feel? This is what everyone feels whenever they have to fight one of your characters and you pull out anti-this and anti-that and whatever to negate everything they do.

If you can learn from this how to roleplay a fun and fair fight, then I don't care who wins or loses, because everyone will win.
