Krak strafes to the left a few steps, firing two shots rapidly from his weapon. A golem. This wasn't going to be easy. Constructs were far from his favorite thing to face off against. They couldn't be surprised, and they rarely had those squishy bits that were so easy to get to.

sineed head took a few steps forward since he hadn't done anything he was outside the hole with the firewall over it he jumped in with no hesitation then he looks at the golem after landing with a few words and a point of a finger at the golem "quickened magic missle." he said and fired five balls of pure energy right at the golem

This time, the golem's fist connects, and Krum grunts heavily in pain from the blow. Undaunted, he swings his axe twice against the mighty golem, despite its reinforced body being proof against most of his damage.


1d100=47 - Lesser Cloak of Displacement fails, rolling a 21+.
Attacking with a +2 flanking bonus from the party.
1d20+16=29, 1d12+7=11 - hits AC29 for 11 damage.
1d20+11=23, 1d12+7=13 - hits AC23 for 13 damage.
DR applies to both attacks.

The golem brushes away the sand and the wounds. Without Simon it takes a moment to think than rushes for the fire.

The golem stops after a few feet seeing all those in front of him and goes to grapple Krumk.

Displacement Cloak to avoid the touch attack, 1-20 good:
1d100=48 - he hits.
1d20+14=27 - Counter-grapple of 27, so he automatically wins the check with his +28 bonus. Owie, more slam damage.

Also, rolling my AoO:
1d20+14=28, 1d12+7=8 - didn't break his DR even if I hit, so the grapple goes through.

The salt mummy controlled by Kyruth walks up to the grappling golem and attempts to slam it with his fist.

(1d100)[100] If < 50, hits Glyph's character...

Edit: And that misses the AC30.

sineed pulled out two iron rods and held them infront of him pressing the two buttons on them as they now held in the air as he gave a small smirk "now you can't charge at me." he thought to himself

Krak continued to watch the golem, moving slightly to the side before firing at it again, two bolts carefully placed towards it, the seeking function on his crossbow active.

Krumk continues to struggle futilely against the golem's grip.

The barkeep snatchs a piece of glowing blue cloth from the wall and pulls out a decanter of endless water from the wall popping it open he begins to spray the hole.The golem continues to grapple while the bartender leaps through the hole "oh dear apparent multiple gods" looking at the golem grappling with Krumk "This is great" tearing open the cloth out comes thirty immovable rods.

"Do you know what those adventurers will pay to see a golem!"

My guy can't do anything useful, so he does as the DM has "suggested" and activates some of the immovable rods. The salt mummy does the same.

Over the course of a few minutes the golem struggles in vain attempting to push the rods out of the way as more and more are put up blocking his path. Eventually the golem is left just trudging forward in a useless effort to push them out of the way. The bartender slips his hand between the bars and jabs the golem. The golem stops for a moment to try and grab his hand but the bartender pulls it away fast enough. Due to the size of the construct he can barely get his finger through.

After a few tests the bartender heads up and out of the hole. "You gents what your free beer or shall I leave you down there?"

sineed looked up at the barkeep and then squeezed past the golem "we kinda need to get that wizard guy right the one who teleported away?" he then sighed as he got behind the golem putting his other two rods on its right leg quickly

"I don't need the wizard, in fact I don't want him. All I need to do is secure my vault more." The bartender is flipping through a large leather book "Hmm that's an Iron Golem you've netted me just now, they're worth 150,000 gold I sell my beer for 1 gold piece a drink". He counts on his fingers for a moment doing some mental math "You guys okay with drinking for free for life?"

sineed quickly commented "I speak only for myself but I think I'll take you up on that offer." then he thought to himself (and make you regret it)

Krak pats off some of the singed parts of his gear, but nods, "I suppose that'll do." he manages, "though I think I'll wait a minute to drink any. I feel like i'd combust right now."

"Although gentleman I suppose I still owe you your payment" a set of glowing lights come from some lanterns hovering in his hands "my friends tell me you walked here, after that work you've done I'd think it a shame to break you all up" He flips to the back of his book, whatever it is you all need it's your as long as you keep doing good."

(Sorry for the double posting but I'm budging the plot I thought someone would propose a name but oh well)

The bartender coughs. Bits of blood comes with his cough and landed on the bar table. It's black and it begins to burn through the table. "Sorry about that a little short on my medication" he reaches behind Krumk's ear and pulls out a vial "Ta da" he wheezes out, only a few measly drops come out. "Oh that's not good" he coughs louder,harder, more blood ending up on the table.

"I know I owe you a favor but do you think you can do me one more?" his hand shaking a bit he points to the north. "Those drow make a fine poison that helps to slow 'my issue' at least long enough to get proper medication". He coughs even more his face turning more and more pale with each cough "Do me one more favor and I'll get you whatever you need"

"As long as the favor doesn't involve golems, we're up for it."

"well lets go poison the old man so he can get medicine shall we?" sineed shrugged at the term poison "which way was it to these drows again?"

"Bring me with you, I'll take you there" taking a small worn coat from beneath the bar. "They live on the nearest wall of this fine canyon" heading for the door coughing each time he takes a step. "Also don't worry I killed their golem years ago" laughing up a bit of blood "The crafty little buggers".

The kobold looked a bit concerned, but ultimately nodded. "I'll be happy to lend a hand" he managed.

As the bartender heads out the door your bones begin to shake from the cold air. What once was a warm summer night feels as though it's a cold autumn day.The bartender with his illness collapses down into a horse drawn cart "Drow live that way" pointing to the closest crevice wall "You'll know when you get there and don't feel bad when they trick you" and than loses consciousness .

After a few silent moments of riding you spot a white picket fence surrounding a door built into a wall. While the ground outside the fence is beaten by years of grazing cows and horses passing through the inside shines a lovely green of perfectly kept lawn.At the front of the gate you can see a white mailbox labeled "The Drow" on the side.

Sineed sighed hard then spoke softly "I don't think these are drow at all for I highly doubt the Drow would tend grass in such a manner or put up a hunk of metal with the writing 'The Drow' on it."
