I pointed at you back on Day 2 as well, when others were pointing at you for your Chaos outburst, and I'm voting now because you were on the Julian wagon. That's unfourtanetly all the evidence I've gathered so far, but it's more than what, most use for their reasons.

Lol, you're telling me. I'm at work right now. 11pm to 7 am shift. Whole hotel, just me on staff. It's also the only time I have access to internet that lets me post. For example, I don't work for the next three days so I'll probably miss the vote for the next day., but I'll be back for 4 days in a row so I should be able to vote then.

Also, since people seem to be allowed to claim being 'balored' and what not, I'll just say I was Voided last night.

Voiding removes night actions. Being...trapped? Whatever the Baalor does, keeps them for posting the next day. But that wouldn't go towards the Autolynch total.

With the situation becoming desperate, the devils turned to one who had been mostly silent. His claims of other things occupying his time did not convince.

A large group of devils marched to his residence. Some at least seemed convinced he was a demon. Taking no chances, they sent one of their number sneaking in. For a time there was silence, then the abrupt sounds of battle. Then all noise ceased again.

Shortly afterwards, the killer emerged to tell the waiting multitude of their dreadful mistake.

Croverus was stealthily killed in his own home. He was a Barbed Devil.

Night 5 Begins!

In fact I believe that shoudl be game, cause tonight they'll kill someone, and then it'll be 11 people left. Amazing, not a single demon died. And I just read the common rules of WW, and now I see why people voted me as a Demon... sucks that I was being honest about not having internet and not enough people believed me.

It ain't game over yet. It's dire but I doubt there are 6 demons at the start.

Mephistopheles stands in the throne room of Malsheem with his old ally Dispater. He seems lost in thought as a servant approaches.

“My Lord?”

He turns to face the devil bearing him news.

“Our reports suggest the demons have retreated for the time being.”
“Any further casualties?”
“My Lord, Lord Baalzebul was, perhaps unwisely, away from his palace. We still aren’t certain what happened, but it seems their paths crossed.”

Mephistopheles nods.

“Thank you. You may go now.”

When the servant has left, Dispater turns to his companion.

“What could have caused them to leave?”
“Some underhanded ploy. Perhaps one of our own found some gain from it.”
“Mammon?”
“Most likely.”

They pause for a moment.

“Why do you think they attacked Baalzebul as they left?”
“A parting blow perhaps. To show us all, perhaps even their benefactor, that they had the strength to continue if they so wished.”
“Of course, with Baalzebul and Lord Asmodeus gone...”
“Then I am King. The others will not oppose that.”
“Your position will not be the most stable though. There will be talk of how you were unable to halt the demon attack.”
“Perhaps. But that is a problem for another time.”

Lord Loss vanished as the demons were leaving Baator. He was Baalzebul.

Mammon has achieved his full victory condition, and the game has ended. He and his followers win!

Mephistopheles achieved his personal victory condition, but without eliminating the demons this only counts as a minor victory for him and his followers.

Abilities:
Forced Recruitment - You may force a player to accept your recruitment offer (they usually can refuse). This does not allow you to recruit Archdevils or Demons. This ability has a 2 day cooldown.
Loyal Follower: You may choose a single player as an additional follower at the beginning of the game. This follower cannot be recruited by any other Archdevil.
Careless Day-Baner - Target one player each night. That player cannot be lynched the following day phase. You cannot target yourself.

Follower Abilities:
If another Archdevil attempts to recruit a follower of Asmodeus, they are informed of the player name of the Archdevil (in addition to the role name).

Win Condition: Asmodeus and his followers win if no other Archdevil acheives their win condition, in addition to eliminating all the Demons.

Archdevil Killer - +2 votes if you vote for an Archdevil (doesn't affect Asmodeus until Baalzebul is dead).

Follower Abilities:
+1 vote for every 2 followers of Mephistopheles voting for a follower of Baalzebul or Asmodeus

Erinyes followers ignore the Archdevil survival chance from their followers.

Win Condition: Mephistopheles and his followers win if they eliminate Baalzebul and Asmodeus, in addition to all the Demons.

Spymaster - You may be "recruited" by other Archdevils. You do not gain any ability from their following, nor does it affect your victory conditions. You are informed of their victory condition, and follower abilities.
Disguiser - You may choose to scry as any regular Devil role (i.e. not Archdevils or Demons). You may change this every night. This does not affect scries by Demons.

Follower Abilities:
Followers of Baalzebul can be "recruited" by other Archdevils, while remaining loyal to Baalzebul (to act as spies).

Win Condition: Baalzebul and his followers win if they eliminate Mephistopheles and Asmodeus, in addition to all the Demons.

Abilities:
Abasement - Votes against you by other Archdevils count as 1 (instead of 3).

Follower Abilities:
A random follower of Mammon (changed each day) can recruit a player to Mammon's following. During the day, PM the narrator the name of a player you wish to recruit. They will receive the offer at the end of the Day phase, and you will receive a response at the end of the Night phase. This ability has a 2 day cooldown.

Win Condition: Mammon and his followers win if their following is larger than any other Archdevil, in addition to eliminating or converting all the Demons.

Special:
Mammon and his followers may recruit Demons. Recruited Demons do not need to be killed for the game to end, provided the other conditions are met.

Did you like your role?
Narrating is fun. Getting to watch what everyone is doing, feeling sorry for them when the manage to shoot themselves in the foot, and impressed when you can guess what they are planning... yeah, I enjoy that.

Do you think the rules were balanced?
Mammon shouldn’t be able to recruit demons. It makes a Mammon victory unstoppable as soon as he recruits a single demon. I think the rest of the rules were okay.

How were the narrations?
I had less fun writing them than in my previous game. Trying to keep it serious, and use the events in a 22-player game to represent the thousands or millions of devils in Baator... not easy.

Do you feel the narrator otherwise did a good job?
Yeah... I can’t exactly answer most of this. Still, almost all the narrations on time give or take ten minutes.

Any improvements you would suggest?
I think I covered it with the Mammon thing.

Any other thoughts?
I definitely want to run a Devils II at some point.

Villager. Got recruited - nothing special came of it but interesting none the less.

We seemed to have lost before we ever got rolling. Was it bad luck or too little chance. Not sure myself.

They were great. Obviously I prefered you Trinians silliness but this worked out fine too!

Wasn't ever waiting for an update. Kepp it coming man.

Any improvements you would suggest?
With me it's always less is more - I'd suggest simpler games over complicated ones every time.

Mammon's win is pretty broken if the devil don't kill some demons quick.

They were great to read.

No waiting on narrations, you're better than I.

Any improvements you would suggest?
The villager needs 2 seers. If Mammon gets the loner seer, the villagers are screwed. Take away his extra recruit too. Mammon is broken and we demons abused that once we knew the id of the seer.

Yes. To the point that a couple nights I had trouble sleeping because I was excited/laughing.

If you had any idea how hard I laughed when I read my role PM...

Do you think the rules were balanced?
The hard thing about this game for everyone else was that the random role distribution put the Pit Fiend under Mammon. I got lucky on night 1, and it was over for everyone else at that point. Even if Mammon lost the second recruiting ability, the game only would have lasted another day phase because we found a demon on night 1. So yeah, phenomenally bad luck for the rest of the devils.

How were the narrations?
I enjoyed them. However, for the final narration I was hoping for a battle scene, with the rest of the devils standing proud and confident because we still outnumbered the demons, the surviving archdevils being cut down by the traitors, and Mammon taking Asmodeus's crown for himself.

Do you feel the narrator otherwise did a good job?
You did great.

Any improvements you would suggest?
For balance, in the future perhaps only bearded devils should start as followers - me being Mammon's follower at the start is what doomed the village more than anything else.

No. Followers of Baalzebul get the disadvantage of a second victory condition in exchange for an ability that only helps them with that victory condition, with the whole cost of being killed to save your archdevil and such. I wanted out the moment I got in.
