D&D Demotivators III: My PCs Did What?

There is a highway on the hills above what seems to be a "lake". If you look closely enough, it should become apparent when looking at the far "shore" that it is unnaturally bright. This is because that supposed shore is in fact the top of a wall. The "water" appears darker because that part of the wall is in partial shade while the top edge is in direct sunlight.

From what I can tell somebody took a picture of the hills... they then held that picture up to match the landscape that they had taken a picture of and moved the camera down a bit to get the lake in the shot...

So it's a picture of half a picture and the rest of what was below that picture.

Now if they'd done that with a completely different location it would have been more impressive.

There is no lake. It's just a wall that happens to look like one because of the shadows on it. It wasn't done intentionally. It's just one of those things.

Forget the hills in the distance for a moment. The "shore" you see is actually the top of a low wall encircling the property. The hills in the distance are seen over the wall. It really is a clever -or lucky- illusion. Took me a minute.

That's actually a telephone wire, I believe.

See the part that's inside the quotes for src= ? That's the only part that should be in the [img] tag. Remove everything else, including the src= and the quotes.

(with a closing bracket, that is). I have no idea what all that "<a href" stuff means, but (with firefox) you can right-click the pic and select 'copy image location' and paste that in the image tags. That'll fix it.
