The Package, the cup, and the message are present in the comic yet it is not shown or revealed. What are they and are (or will) they connected to each other?

The cup is a cup of coffee, and the message is presumably a warning that Redcloak recovered the phylactery and the Resistance is dead. As far as I know the package was just part of a joke and hasn't affected the plot in any direct way.

Cup of tea would make the most sense, given the setting. But I always took the joke to mean that there is no cup of anything they want to have--it's just an excuse to get together (and do the nasty).

But I always assumed it was an invitation to go on a date because she mentions it when she thinks Daigo is dying and that's just much sweeter than regret that she hadn't slept with him yet...

This leads me to believe that this entire thread is some sort of reference to another work of fiction that has no meaning to anyone who hasn't also read/watched it. And thus has no real relevance to OOTS at all, other than to try to make inside jokes to other fans of the other work.

i would have to agree that every single thread has a comparison to Skyrim, and it is really annoying.

the one thing i will add is that niu cuts off thanh before he finishes telling her what to do, while this most likely is nothing, he could have told her something she didnt know that hinjo would need to know.

And the thing, it doesn't know anything but pure enjoyment without complexity, not being able to comprehend anything else but that the toy is fun. Not seeing a bad side to anything. Wouldn't be too bad a way to live really.
