Selea happily follows her comrades, ready to spring into action and ask an unwitting fool nearby local for directions if its necessary. While she trusts the memory of Kraitauer, she isn't averse to a good opportunity to keep her charms from getting rusty. After all, such a strong personality would be wasted if she only blew peoples' heads off with it...

Kraitauer is able to lead the group with exceptional talent to the market. It's a large flourishing market square. Vendors preach how their goods are the best around. Items ranging from food to weapons and many unusual things in between can be found here.

"Where should we go first? I'm eager to spend some of this hard earned coin" Fishface says with a grin.

[Lyndworm]

"Well, I suppose that depends." says Kraitauer. "Would you rather pick up personal items, or would you rather obtain items for the Heresy?" he asks. "We've yet to experience any real danger to our ship, so I'm unsure how useful placing our eggs in that basket would be."

Selia considers the question for a moment. Well, as much as I like the ship the way it is now, we could always add some things to make it more comfortable and spend the rest of our money on things for ourselves, she says.

The three of you in your musings and walking have entered the market district. Several dozen stores adorn the sides of the road, while the center square is full off vendors as well attempting to sell their wares.

After nearly an hour of browsing the various shops, the three of you happen upon a jewelry shop. The owner pleased with such a bulk sale, three rings after all quite a few at once, is happy to offer a slight discount. Your total price ends up being only 4,500 gold. The purchase is handled without issue or questions and the three of you soon find yourself back on the street with several more coins left then you thought you would have.

Do you think this is everything we'll want, or should we go get something else? Selia asks Fishface.

[Burnheart]

"This should be enough, lets go and get a drink" Fishface replies "Where's the nearest tavern?" he asks a passerby?

He points you towards a near by tavern named Hemler's Brew. You find it a little ways down the street and enter it to find a nice and laid back environment.

[Burnheart]

Fishface walks up to the bar and takes a seat "Ale" he says to the person behind the bar which he then knocks back most of in one gulp when it arrives "Anything interesting going on around here?" he asks.

The barkeep isn't to busy yet and finds time to answer your question rather quickly.

"Not so much to be honest. But then again it depends on what you find interesting.

[Burnheart]

"Unexplained odd stuff mostly" Fishface replies

A deep smile registers on the barkeeps face and soon you find yourself being told about a local job, to small for the Shadows but still being paid out by them.

"Well you see, not to long ago some local boys got into a rough patch with the law. They seemed to of stolen some gems and whatnot from a store down the way a little. Now the one boy who was arrested, is my nephew. He swears up and down that they couldn't of done the job because they were busy elsewhere. They think a rival of their's named St Ageith did the crime and then framed them. Now the Shadows don't care, because it's a little small time for them, I do care though and got them to put up a reward for information about the robbery for two thousand gold.

Now I said this was small time, but the interesting thing is that, it's got the community around here pretty divided. Some shops are closing doors to certain people. Some say this little scuffle could turn violent real fast."

Interesting, Selia considers. This sort of problem would be interesting, to be sure. It would at least be a break from the constant fighting on the island. Now, Selia enjoyed using her powers, especially as if eased the still-constant, if weaker since the mission started, despair she felt, but after a certain time she wanted to spend her time doing other things. Maybe, after they had taken care of this, she could investigate the specifics of the odd sword she'd gotten.

"Well then, if someone were interested in sorting out this little mess where should they start looking?" Fishface asks while finishing his ale.

The barkeep answers while pouring another ale for Fishface.

"Well I'm not to sure my own self. My bet would be to prove St Ageith was there that night. I just don't know how you'd go about doing it. Or prove my nephew wasn't there, either should do the trick. "

[Burnheart]

"Well then lets go pay a visit to that store, where is it?" Fishface say while standing up.

The barkeep seems quite happy that someone is willing to try and help out his nephew.

"The store is just a little ways down. It's called Rickle's Antiques. Don't you guys worry about the tab, it's on me.


With that, the man clears away the empty glasses and begins to work on other stuff. After a few minutes, he comes back with a piece of paper, directions to Rickle's scrawled on the paper.

Fishface leads the others out of the bar towards Rickle's, pausing a short distance away to speak with his companions "How do you think we should handle this?" he asks them.

[PersonMan]

Selea thinks for the entire issue for a few moments before shrugging. "I'm sure I could lie to them easily enough, but the truth seems like a fairly good way to go. We just go in and say we're interested in resolving the crime to get the reward money," she says.

"Talking first huh, you'd better take the lead on this" Fishface replies whilst gesturing for Selea to move in front of him.
