Re: Werewolf: Classic XIII
*The handy dandy handyless handyman's ears drooped to hear about the hidden cameras. He was forced to wonder if the Overseer really knew where the pee stains in the corner of the lobby was coming from or why he really had been late 2 weeks ago. He couldn't worry too much about that now. He was busy trying to make sure all the gates in the zoo were working properly after the Tiger incident. Even though he was staff and NOT an exhibit, the zoo made him nervous. He nervously passed the exhibit for the red maned Firemeier*

Re: Werewolf: Classic XIII
Excerpts from “The Rise and Fall of Sanctuary 13” by Timothy Tiberius
Chapter 6 – Elections
…and in 2022, 10 years after the doors were sealed those of political ambition called for free and fair elections to be held within Sanctuary 13. Up until now the Sanctuary had made use of interim low-level supervisors in each of the major sectors. Food production, Education, Health Department…etc. These elections were to nominate a highest authority. An Overseer to guard, protect & lead the Sanctuary through it’s long exile and to safety…
Chapter 14 – Confirmation
It had been four days. Four days of false accusations leading to needless killings. There was yet to be any proof of these supposed werewolves existence. So far there was only the word of one frightened individual and the daubed finger-painting of a dead man.
There was unrest. Left and right the community through accusing stares with no real consensus or direction until a friendly voice boomed over the loud speakers.
This was just what the Sanctuary needed. The firm voice of a man used to command! Some of the less trusting ones questioned his motives and his “proof”…what if, after all, their beloved leader was a wolf himself!?! Most, however, were happy to test his claims and voted against Bladescape.
It should be noted that Bladescape is a contraction, not of Blade and Scape but of Blad and Escape. Blad is the unfortunate gentlemen’s name and in this final instance he could not escape. The crowds surrounded him, put a noose around his neck and pulled. With baited breath they waited for something to happen…anything.
As the kicking stopped and the muscles relaxed the body began to change. The face elongated as it sagged, the arms and legs shrunk while the torso stretched and fur erupted all over Bladescape body. There for everyone to see was a wolf. Undeniable proof there was a threat hiding amongst them and that the threat…
Summary: Bladescape was Lynched. He was a Werewolf.
Night 5 begins now and ends in about 22 hours.
Please PM all night actions to Qwaz and Lex-kat.

Re: Werewolf: Classic XIII
Wait, What? You mean I'm not the seer? Damned. Ah well.
Oh, and that's four times out of five games with wolves that I've played in that I've been a wolf, I'd've loved to actually be the seer, rather than play pretend. Ah, well. C'est la vie.Last edited by bladescape; 2011-06-21 at 07:08 AM.

I cannot choose the bandwagon in front of you
Of course not. That would people be suspicious of me.
Everyone knows that the wolves love to hide in the bandwagon on Seer days because it looks good for them whenever people are trying to analyze votes. So the best way to show you are a villager is to not vote to lynch wolves.Last edited by Atreyu the Masked LLama; 2011-06-21 at 11:12 AM. Reason: To prove I'm not a sniper.

Re: Werewolf: Classic XIII
Except 'Everyone knows' that. therefore a wolf can do the same to hide. And logically, early on the bandwagon, they would try to avoid jumping on, until it gets so much momentum it's obvious it won't be stopped.

Re: Werewolf: Classic XIII
But naturally the wolves know that strategy is regarded as obvious and therefore often overlooked, so I can clearly not trust the wine in front of me!

Re: Werewolf: Classic XIII
Claude Dixon the 4th (Cd4 for short) had finished the nightly checks on the water refinement plant. It was a marvel of technology. It purified used water from within the Sanctuary but also collected and decontaminated water from outside. It’s from careful study of these contaminants that the “Safe Date” for leaving could be checked and changed if needed. Cd4 had been one of over 50 people trained in it’s operation and maintenance but now he was the only one left. It was largely autonomous but mechanical problems needed fixing by hand along with refilling certain chemicals at certain intervals. Cd4 had been working on an “Idiots guide” of the manual. It would allow someone to continue his vital work in the event of his death. Putting the finishing touches to it in the office he attached the latest site report and sent it to the only person he considered trustworthy.
Hometime Cd4 said to himself with a satisfied smile.
Locking the plant’s door behind him, he started home.
Cd4 arrived safely.
Summary: No one was killed. Cd4 was flavour text.
Day 6 begins now and ends in about 50 hours.

Re: Werewolf: Classic XIII
So, the wolves just used a night kill on a devil claim? Only way I can think of for that to happen.
Waiting for word from the seer before voting.

Re: Werewolf: Classic XIII
You say that, but if they have a designated kill sender in guy, just one screw up causes this. (from experience, in the last WW Classic I was wolf in a 50 or so man game. We still accidentally missed a day)

Re: Werewolf: Classic XIII
My money is on the wolves finding their devil, but that's just a gut feeling I have.
Also, as promised, I'm voting for Matthias today. That post towards the end of the previous day phase just didn't sit right with me, it really sounded like a wolf trying very hard to look like a misguided villager when bladescape turned out to be a wolf at the lynch.
I may as well be bold with this, as I'm unlikely to last much longer.

Re: Werewolf: Classic XIII
Good day citizens and friends of Sanctuary 13 (and enemies too, since I know you are out there listening.
No announcements for today, but would citizen Duneyrr please approach the nearest Securitron* for a "debriefing."
((No word from the seer yet, this is just a gut feeling. In the past when we have both been on the wolf side he has always been low key. His point yesterday during the seer test seemed too safe.
*Also I love how we've taken Qwaz's original idea for the game and slammed it directly into the Fallout Universe. My original intent was to play a Jet addict who only THOUGHT he was the Overseer. But people started interacting with my RP, so I scrapped that.))
Shots rang out, as shots are wont to do.

Re: Werewolf: Classic XIII
Fallout was a springboard for this so It's not unexpected. I have plans for you R9...oh yes.
Yes. Kills foiled by banes are reported ala night 2.
This is correct. The idea of starting the Devil not in contact with the wolves is to create some uncertainty as to who to trust for wolves too. If the answer was the cost of a night kill that would be too easy.
