Garden World, please. Because cliff world is dragging behind in votes so I might as well be climbing giant trees. Because climbing stuff is awesome.

Re: Vote Up A Campaign Setting 2
Alright, we've hit the deadline for Setting and... we have a tie.
Except no ties allowed.
I don't care what wins; I don't care if you all make a mass exodus to Ice World or what happens. All I'm saying is: voting has been extended for fifteen minutes. What happens in that time will decide the Setting poll.Need a place to hang? Like Discord? Don't mind dealing with a capricious demon lord? Re: Vote Up A Campaign Setting 2
Personally, that's why I voted for Space. You can always have stuff on planets if you like that resemble the other ideas.
Plus I've always got grand ideas for races, and with Space you have greater option in background stories, unique abilities and culture flavour.
Plus, we could invent various space storms like they have in Sandstorm, Stormwrack and Frostburn.Last edited by Morph Bark; 2011-06-19 at 11:09 AM.

Re: Vote Up A Campaign Setting 2
Eh, Campaign Settings are a lot of work anyway. No matter which is picked, it won't make it easy for those on the build team. Besides, those who applied knew what they were getting into.
EDIT: I also find it baffling that I gave the link to my players after seeing the deadly shift to 15 minutes more and then the ONLY one of them that has an account turns out to also be the only one who hates Space.Last edited by Morph Bark; 2011-06-19 at 11:13 AM.

In my opinion, the most interesting option in a world full of exotic and outright magical life is Exploration.

Re: Vote Up A Campaign Setting 2 (Now Voting: Theme!)
Let's see which ones sound interesting... Eye of the Storm, Genesis, Heroic, Noir and Savage.
Survival is boring. Horror is hard to pull off right and overdone. The others even moreso so they are cliché.
I'm picturing a world that is constantly being made and remade every so often in a cycle of perpetual Creation and Destruction that knows a calm period every so often before the gears start churning again. A Primal god who lords over technological advance actually literally setting gears into working to twist the land and make the lands shift locations relative to one another, twist up new mountains, and so forth, with few constants. Lesser gods lording over small tribes of people in secret, twisting their essence to make unique races, split off from one primal "base" race.
As such, because the description of it seems closest to that idea, I'm going for Genesis.Last edited by Morph Bark; 2011-06-19 at 12:00 PM.

Re: Vote Up A Campaign Setting 2 (Now Voting: Theme!)
I vote for exploration. In the middle of the jungles and forests, you find ancient ruins filled with traps and golems. In the tops of the trees, you find an amazing canopy, which you can easily walk on with some jumps for the farther spaced trees.

Re: Vote Up A Campaign Setting 2 (Now Voting: Theme!)
I'm torn. I'd probably vote for exploration, had a different setting won (which is weird cause I was practically begging for exploration and I also did everything I could to make garden world win...), but as-is I'm still pretty torn. Eye of the storm could be fun, but I think in this garden world, an ongoing apocalypse won't have quite the same impact (which actually makes post-apocalyptic a really fitting choice because after civilization falls, all this "nature" stuff would totally happen). Frontier, savage, and survival also seem like natural choices for this world... but in the end, I think I'm gonna have to go with genesis... particularly since that could easily include those other three I just mentioned

Re: Vote Up A Campaign Setting 2 (Now Voting: Theme!)
Man oh man... I'm going to have to go with Noir. I'm not sure if it would exactly work out in Gardenworld, but then again, I don't think it's been done before either.
