"Yea, its a package deal," Gear chimed in and let Silverpine take over the tail by the teeth grabbing duties. She galloped up to the orange stallion who declared that the Grill and Spa was opened.


"Hey there, we're customers, we lookin' into getting our pal here a nice spa treatment to help him score with the ladies," She told Orange Pepper.

Orange Pepper takes Gearstride by the hoof inside to the stairs. "Excellent. Which services will you be having today? There are various massages and baths. And there are dietary counseling as well. Are you coming for a treatment also?"

Snickers raises an eyebrow. "Huh. I didn't know foxgloves - the flower, mind you - were deadly. I always just thought there were a pretty little flower, beautiful to behold..."

He then tilts his head, and gives a small shrug. "Of course, botany was never something I learned much about, growing up. Plants don't grow all that well up in the clouds, y'know? And by not well, I mean... not at all. The only times you really saw plants was when somebody bothered to get a cloud flower pot, or in the hearts of the major cities. They make those look nice - trees, flowers, rainbow rivers..." He then pauses, and lets out a chuckle. "Oh sorry, I got lost on a tangent there."

"It sounds very nice... Foxglove plants are good medicine for the heart if you know what to do with them, and poison if you don't."

She mumbled, reciting facts without really listening to what she was saying. She, too, was busy thinking about rainbow rivers.

"And no one knows why a Foxglove is a Foxglove."

"Which Foxglove?" Snickers quips playfully. "If you mean you... Well. All I can think of is an old saying I once heard. 'You are who you choose to be.' I would go on a long tangent about identity and self and you-the-Foxglove being good medicine for the hearts of your friends, but..... I'm sleepy," he says with a lopsided grin, before closing his eyes and sprawling out on the floor. "And sleep-deprived Snickers is not a very smart and eloquent Snickers. Unless we can make it to 4 a.m. Then I'm oddly hyper and wise..."

She looked at her friend, sleeping in the corner, with a tender expression. If Foxglove was sleepy, it was hard to tell; her general aura of sleepiness made individual ups and downs in her actual physical endurance hard to read.

Sandy's hooves left a pair of grooves in the dirt all the way up to the spa's entrance. Inside, they left a pair of dirty smears on the floor.

"Oh, cheer up, Sandy. This'll only be as bad as you let it be!" Night Jewel winked. "Add 'confident' to our list of important qualities."

"Well, I have to admit I've been without any proper pampering for a while," Night Jewel smiled. "I might need a little something to help with my shadowy, mysterious charm."

She carefully extracted a small pouch of diamonds from her mane. "Shall I pay?"

This was true; it'd be unsettling to wake up alone in a room full of... A room full of the frankenwaffles...Which were...Definately...

Her eyes darted to the now Frankenwaffle-less corner where the Frankenwaffle couple had been until...Some time ago.
"...It'd be nice to go invisible like that,"

Snickers tilts his head to the side. "Invisible like what?"

He then turns to follow the path of Foxglove's gaze. And when he sees the blatant lack of Frankenwaffles, his ears fall back and his eyes go wide. "Oh dear. This could be a problem..." he mutters.

[Deme]

"..."

They could have gone plenty of places. Ponies and Waffles might get scared if they had gotten outside. They'd need to look for the waffles. How does one find a waffle?

"...What sort of noise does a waffle-monster make?"

The chef teleported to the kitchen directly and went straight to cooking. He wanted to do something simple like a soup and corn as he had a lot of work to do. He was very busy. Very busy.

Before he could start peeling the tomato for the gazpacho and the corn for roasting, Chily came through the back door. "Where have you been? At Gwynfillion's again? Scandalous behaviour for the unmarried." she said suggestive.

Grills used his telkinesis to rapidly chop the corn and and stale bread. "Mom, we aren't doing anything wrong."

Chily then frowned hard. "Well why not?"

Snickers looks around in concern. "I dunno. I mean, I suppose that when they walk, they have heavy, thudding footsteps."

A few thuds echoed from upstairs.

"Yes, like that..." the pegasus muttered.

He quickly took flight, and head up the stairs. He slowly hovered up into his room, going at a slow pace so Foxglove could keep up.

When they get to Snickers bedroom, they discover Uncle Flapjack laying in Snickers' bed. (Snickers had opted to sleep on the sofa.) On either side of Flapjack is a slumbering Frankenwaffle. The pegasus himself is very much awake. Wide-eyed, and looking more than a little uncomfortable. "Help. Meh. Please..." he mutters softly.

[Deme]

"Hmmm...Mr. Waffle? Please wake up; Mr. Flapjack isn't your wife."

She nudged the waffle with a hoof.

"She will be upset and you will have to find a dog-house to be in."

The slumbering Frankenwaffle suddenly rolls over, still asleep, and grabs Foxglove, pulling her close and hugging her like one would a teddy bear or something.

Snickers takes a tentative step forward. "You okay?" he whispers.

"Peachy..." Uncle Flapjack growls.

"Not you, Foxglove."

Hot springs bubbled steam up to the ceiling. Condensation sat on the rock and tile borders as well a the glass and stone walls. The towel stand stood by the entrance where Yellow hoofed them out. The big yellow mare wore not her trademark chef's hat but a form fitting white uniform.

The door to the bathing room was translucent as was the wall. Through them was shown the vague forms of the porcelain tubs inside. The elaborate nozzles and hoses in the room gave the area a nobility effect.

"Only Yellow and I am working today so we can only take two at a time at most. Who will go first to the massage room? And which masuer will that pony request?"

"My, this is an elegant place." Night Jewel looked all around admiringly before turning back to the others. "Now, since Sandy's the reason we're here, I think he should go first, don't you?"

Sandy sighed and stepped forward, head bowed in defeat. "Fine, fine, I'll go first. Best t'get this over with quick-like." He was already in the spa, there was no way he could escape with his friends watching him, best to just grin and bear it.

"Oooh, maybe we should get the beautiful Miss Yellow here to be Sany's masseur? Eh," Gearstride mischievously grinned and gently pushed Sandy toward Yellow. Yellow would of course remember Gearstride from the sleepover.

Sandy stumbled forward, nearly running into Yellow Pepper. He glanced up at her...and suddenly became rather unsure of what to do next. This mare was going to just...firmly rub down his back and wings...with her hooves and all..."I-I...um....hello there?" he stuttered out meekly, his face already flushing red.

Sandy stood rooted to the spot; now that he'd stopped fighting, he wasn't even sure anymore if this was actually happening. Maybe this was all just a dream, or maybe he hit his head so hard on the counter back at the shop that he knocked himself out. Yeah, that must be it, just had to wait, any second now he'd wake up again-oh wait, somepony just asked him a question. "Uh...t-there's more than one kind?" He looked back to his three friends, completely baffled.

[Benson]

She did recognize her "Hello, Miss Gearstride. Which one of your friends is your friend."

"The handsome orange one with the silver mane," She playfully smirked and playfully ribbed Silverpine. She looked back at Yellow. "I'll take whoever's left, my back could use a deep tissue massage." She did some fore leg and back stretches. "Working for hours under the hood of mah Clunker does a load to ya."

[Orzel]

"Yes, deep tissue and hoof are for different levels of relaxation and you seem tense." sa the leading mare. The nervousness of Sandy was blatant.

Orange offered a hoof to Geastride. "Hmmm.. it is not busy. I will handle your massage, Miss. My brother will handle the rest of you while you wait."

"...It's like being inside a maple tree."

Foxglove said, trying to escape the syrupy grip.

"Only with far less splinters," Snickers observes, trotting around to the side of the beg so he can pull Foxglove free. "And no noisy woodpeckers."

"All I can smell is butter..." Flapjack grumbles.

Frankenwaffle lets go of Foxglove without much struggle, and continues to slumber peacefully, albeit loudly. Frankenwaffles apparently snore.

"Uncle Flapjack, I think you may be better off just hopping on the sofa," Snickers mutters. "I can just use a sleeping bag."
