In other news, I will be sparse today. I have to prepare for a "surprise" inspection, take a nap to make up for sleep lost due to inspection, and maybe play a D&D game. Figured this was appropriate news, though.

Also, do we have any news on whether they will or will not push for a surprise October release? I can't recall if that was fan speculation, unordicial word from on high, or a mix.

It's been really hot and that makes it hard to sleep for me personally. I can't help but wonder if a lich with it's cold aura and con drain (you get drowsy from con drain right?) wouldn't be the perfect answer. Imagine, Mass-produced tech-lich for your sweltering summer day cooling convenience.


Also, I am sure ponies, like most animals have the double helix DNA and there for can use spiral power. Of course in this case their DNA might be a double helix of twisted candy strings like so much candy canes, but still double helix none the less.

Everypony had things going on, we wasted time waiting for SiuiS and we tried to stay on topic more than we normally might, which resulted in only going through about 20 pages - on the upper limits of the thread's normal speed. Basically, we tried and (fortunately) failed.

Anyway, new thread and the creepiest thing is the Lich Lorn ship? I am dissapoint, ponythread.

So, hi. It's taken a couple of months of slowly watching episodes when I was bored and had nothing else I felt like doing, but surprisingly this show has actually grown on me. I don't like everything about it (I could do without the Cutie Mark Crusaders, for instance), but it's pretty enjoyable nonetheless.

Don't know if I'll be posting here often though. Been perusing the thread for a day or two, and you guys can get a little too... well, "out there" for me. I like the pony emotes though. Not enough Twilight or Rainbow Dash in them for me, but still good.


Quick question: was I the only one who thought Rainbow Dash was a guy for a few episodes? I did up until I noticed the others referring to her with female pronouns. This was mainly due to her voice, but also because I figured they might have a "token guy" among the main cast.

Congrats, though now I feel feeble and pathetic for deciding to amble my way through college at the slowest possible rate. 4.5 years for my undergrad, and still a year to go for my masters...

Now the question is: was the graduation ceremony any good? Those can get boring really fast. I had to sit through a 45 minute speech by Billy Baldwin, and wanted to shoot myself by the end of it.

But...doesn't getting con drained from you eventually kill you? Or at the very least put you in a deep coma? I suppose in the sense that you will be completely out of it, that would be a success...

Still, the cold aura might work: properly insulate your house/apartment and then just stick a piece of lich in it somewhere. Now we just need a name for this device...Cold Bones? Chilled Touch?

I admit, I have to keep reminding myself that Dash is a girl. I think it's one part the voice and one part that she's a blue pony. All the other ponies are more traditional 'girly' colours. For this same reason I love her dress for the gala. Even just with her hair brushed she looks a lot more feminine.

I haven't heard anything about season 2 lately, and I'm pretty sure those who regularly read ED would tell us immediately. I prefer to think that no news is good news and they try October.
