Ok, just a news update on the situation I mentioned awhile ago. A 747 jet crashed after lift off. 12 dead, 3 survivors. So far no one knows what has happened other then that.

There was a girl with wings in the mall today. She was really pretty. It kinda made me mad when the people in the food court started making fun of her.

Re: August's Pink Plushy and Phantasmagorically Random Banter Thread #166
I realized something today. The trees are always swaying and waving their branches when it's windy. It's never windy when they're not waving their branches. There can only be one conclusion. Trees are airbenders! Conversely, airbenders are trees, and the Air Nomad genocide was an act of deforestation.

Re: August's Pink Plushy and Phantasmagorically Random Banter Thread #166
Or your screen could be wide enough it doesn't affect you; a few years back, I frequented Wowhead (a World of Warcraft site). On my screen, my username overlapped with another link.
The fact that the response I got from the admins was basically "Get a bigger screen" may have contributed subconsciously to my eventual departure from the forum.
This gu- oh, it's actually you? Congratulations!
I was gonna ask how you knew I was engaged before I did...
Oh, dear. I hope they figure out what went wrong, so at the least they know it can go wrong.
Airplanes are incredible and statistically a very safe method of travel, but they're multi-ton tubes of metal kept in the air by their speed.
Given that, the fact that (according to Wikipedia) there are only 117 deaths per billion journeys is ridiculous and amazing.
Or the wind is a woodbender.

Re: August's Pink Plushy and Phantasmagorically Random Banter Thread #166
I love free concerts.
I've seen a great local band called Ubiquitous Synergy Seeker live for free. The shoe involved a bunch of dancers dancing on a platform 20-30 feet above the ground, probably more, but I don't wanna exaggerate cause it was dark. At one point, the Human Kebab, the DJ and hype-man, was scratching records WHILE STANDING ON HIS HEAD. At another point, he was using a step-ladder. At one point, he had Ash Boo-Schultz, the singer, sitting on top of the step-ladder, while he held the mic stand up, then once the song got to a certain point, they stopped, put it down, and he took off his jumpsuit showing his t-shirt had some words from the song on it. He did this several points during this song.
Then the stopped the set momentarily to make a smoothie.
I've also seen Iggy Pop, who blew my mind. That man, he can still ROCK! And they were opened by the Raveonettes, who are a sweet little band of drone-rock from Denmark. That was last year.
This year I saw punk legends the Descendents, and local punk heroes Effed Up, whose name gets censored regularily, who also happen to be my favourite band EVER. Love them to death.

Hm. My best friend was supposed to come back from the army tomorrow, but they're keeping him until the 25, which means he'll miss the first week of school. It also means they lied to him when they said he'd be home in time for school.
Ah well. He probably don't care.
You must be tired cuz you been runnin' through my mind all day.

Re: August's Pink Plushy and Phantasmagorically Random Banter Thread #166
So, uh...today is the ultimate ruination, apparently.
About 2 hours ago, Dad, while starting to work on fixing the floor agian, recieves a call from my panicing sister. Dad instantly shoots up, and well long story short, Auntie's just starting to teeth baby...something happened to him. According to Dad's side of the conversation, the baby was still crying, so it's not...like, dead. But that was the last I heard of anything as Dad just bolted out the door to Auntie's place.
I'm scared.
