Friday night it is (for Spring 1905 orders, that is)! And if it needs to be later, that's cool too. At this stage in the game I won't NMR anyone, and I'll give it a day or two of PMing late-comers before looking for replacements.

Actually, I haven't assigned a single NMR all game, and I really appreciate that you all have been patient about that. I know the wait can be frustrating but I really think NMRs dramatically change the feel of the game, and I've enjoyed taking the time to watch this one develop.

English F Iri may retreat to Wal or disband.
French F Eng may retreat to Bre or disband.

We'll shoot for ASAP on getting those in, then let's set the Fall 1905 deadline as Thursday night, if possible.

On account of how I just got the second retreat (sorry I wasn't on top of hassling people for their retreats!), I'll extend the deadline until tomorrow night (Friday).

First of all, somebody should strive to post between each of my posts, so I don't have 3 in a row.

Second, whether this turn's result seems like a gift or a big ol' lump of coal, Merry Christmas and all that jazz to all! I'm thankful for the dedicated group of players that have seen this game through to where it is now (and hopefully to the end!)

Fall 1905 Orders

Fall 1905 Retreats

*Note that the English fleet formerly in the English Channel was dislodged by the French attack and, having nowhere to retreat to, was destroyed.

Austria, if you'd like, you may issue a retreat order for A Vie, though it will disband in the Winter.
Italy, you need to issue a retreat (to Alb, Tun, or Tys) or disband. Please post it in the thread since you're the only one, so everyone can see and plan without waiting for me to post it.

Turkey may build 1.
Russia may build 3 (but really only 2 due to availability of home SCs)
Italy must disband 1 (unless F Ion disbands during retreat phase)
Austria's army must disband.
Germany's army must disband.

Let's take a little break on account of the holidays. Please try to submit retreats ASAP, and builds by the New Year, and we'll go from there. Plan for Spring 1906 to be due about the 2nd or 3rd of January. I'll send out PMs reminding everyone and making sure you're still on board in 5 or 6 days or so.

Ahaha! Well, Austria was only part of it. I learned a lot this game, and maybe I'll lose a bit more slowly next time.

I suppose all I can say now, being under house arrest, is "I regret not having fallen to the gracious and majestic power of the Turkish people sooner..."

I didn't have any orders for bulgaria, rumania or black sea, so the latter two bounced cause why the hell not and bulgaria was giggling at that. Or something. It was very clever obviously (or probably not, but I wrote them when sleepy so if it wasn't as funny as I'd have liked, that's what I'm going to stick to).

I read 'theater' as 'threater'. As in, one who might use threats. The rest of Splynn's message almost makes sense with that context. Yeah, I woke up from a short, slightly flu delirious nap after a full day's work a minute or two ago...
