I found with my budgies that if I just left out a bowl of warm water - and showed it to them - they'd hop in and give themselves a bath. But uh... don't let them mistake your boiling hot porridge for a nice warm bath, will you

I don't want to know.

I don't think her previous owners ever let her have a bath; she perched on the edge of the dish but refused to go in. But she breaks into song whenever she hears running water, so I think her instincts are calling to her.

Contrasted with my first budgie, who would hear a tap running and fly from the other side of the house to see if he could play under it.

At that angle, you just managed to get the glow of her eye... Which always looks creepy.
Particularly in the case of that frog that was on the car once... When my friend photographed it, we were shocked to see its eyes glowing as if it were a demon staring up at us...

Still, despite the creepy light effect, an adorable picture.
My suggestion is to leave some water out for her to bath in, and maybe she'll give it a try. Purposefully getting wet is an acquired taste in many animals.
