Re: Dungeons and Dreamboats V: Snakes & Cakes
I have more of a challenge for everybody, since I seem to have such a hard time finding very many of these myself...
I have a humanoid primate race (no, not humans) in my homebrew world that has six different subraces to it. Gorillas, chimpanzees, orangutans, lemurs, capuchins, and baboons are the bases. All I seem to be able to find are Planet of the Ape pictures and/or depictions of "the Monkey King" from Asian folk lore. I am curious to see what else you guys might be able to dig up!"There's a beast in every man, and it stirs when you put a sword in his hand."- Ser Jorah Mormont"I fight... so that you don't have to."- Templar Thomas Marshall"I am not a warrior." Also, look for "vanara", they're a humanoid (I mean, a little more humanoid than they already are) monkey race from Oriental Adventures.

Awesome, thank you guys!
Some of these I had seen before... others I had not. I now I know how to research for more in the future!

It's strange how as the thread goes on, cake decreases in quantity and, well, smaller and less revealing. I wonder why that is. We cirtainly haven't run out.

I hear it's amazing when the famous purple stuffed worm in flap-jaw space with the tuning fork does a raw blink on Hara-Kiri rock! I need scissors! 61!

Re: Dungeons and Dreamboats V: Snakes & Cakes
Thank you DrewID, the art you posted is greatly appreciated!
Though I've already found a great picture for the redheaded mage(posted eariler).
And for right now I've found a good picture for the blonde rogue, just not great. I posted what I found above as well. It's pretty much spot on except for a few listed qualities. I'm not too hopeful that I'll beable to find something better, though would certainly be awesome. If anyone could help it's as always greatly appreciated!I hear it's amazing when the famous purple stuffed worm in flap-jaw space with the tuning fork does a raw blink on Hara-Kiri rock! Re: Dungeons and Dreamboats V: Snakes & Cakes
A little offtopic, but I'm curious, what classes could those women on this picture be:
Spoiler
The first from left is obviously some kind of spellcaster, Sorceress I would guess, 'cause I don't see a spellbook and she has a spear (or is it a staff?).
The first on the right would probably be a Ranger.
The one kneeling by the bleeding one might be the Cleric, because of the morningstar, but I don't see her casting healing spells, so I might be wrong.

Re: Dungeons and Dreamboats V: Snakes & Cakes
Well, most of that set of pictures seemed to be Dragonlance stuff, so I'm sure she is a wizard, as sorcerers don't really exist in that setting (I know they do in the campaign setting, but name one that appears in the books). From L>R after her, I'd say fighter, Paladin (Solamnic Knight) x 2, fighter, ranger

Re: Dungeons and Dreamboats V: Snakes & Cakes
I have a request. I am looking for a specific picture. It is of boy and girl they are somewhat young (late teens maybe). The girl I believe is in a dress and the boy is in a suit of armor and I think he might have shield. One of them have green eyes. The other details are a bit rough. I first saw this picture sometime between September and December last year. It was in one of the threads of this series i THINK but if it is I do not remember which. Thanks in advance

Re: Dungeons and Dreamboats V: Snakes & Cakes
This thread is static, it needs to be more moving and such. Bards will hopefully help to fix that.

Also a request to hopefully get others into image searching mood, I'd like pictures of people with pumpkins. Don't really care about the specifics, but anything will probably help.Avatar by Diabhan

Re: Dungeons and Dreamboats V: Snakes & Cakes
If I could get a decent picture of someone observing a battle, but not taking an active role in it, it would be really nice. Preference is for fantasy, but that's not necessary.
He fears his fate too much, and his reward is small, who will not put it to the touch, to win or lose it all.

Re: Dungeons and Dreamboats V: Snakes & Cakes
I'd like to make a request, since my google-fu has failed me. I'm playing a Kitsune (anthropomorphic fox man) in a Pathfinder game in map tools, but I can't find ANY decent pictures for my character token whatsoever.
So, a male bard/dervish/duelist-like fox man.
Help me, playgrounders, you're my only hope!Last edited by PrGo; 2012-10-13 at 11:17 AM.

Re: Dungeons and Dreamboats V: Snakes & Cakes
Not you. He misposted.
I'd contribute, but.. I got nothing.
I'd suggest looking through the stuff in the noparse'd link though, and then googling "[cardname] art full", or similar.
