Re: Elemental's Excitingly Excellent Random Banter: No.CLXXVII (177)
currently at 11:30 hours. 12:30 left to go. Currently AoE 2. It's fun. I have a big army. I'm being all peaceful and @!"£. It's nice. I hide behind my walls while everyone else beats people up.

...longbowmen and trebuchets? Psh. Cavalry archers is where it's at. I can't remember what I'd back them up with, though. Tarkans, maybe? Or mamelukes?

Cavalry archers? Pft, my armies were castles and cannon towers. The enemies didn't stand a chance. What, you mean that it's possible to play without aegis on?

Re: Elemental's Excitingly Excellent Random Banter: No.CLXXVII (177)
While I admit that I am as fond of fortification as the next person. Constructing towers up to the enemy base seems to be far too annoying to be allowed.
Instead, I like to train a great army of various cavalry and destroy everything that way. Of course, trebuchets are practically a prerequisite of getting into anyone's base.Mauve Shirt, Savannah, Gnomish Wanderer, Cuthalion and Smuchmuch get cookies for making me avatars. (::)

Re: Elemental's Excitingly Excellent Random Banter: No.CLXXVII (177)
That depended on how far my villager could get without being attacked.
Well, it requires a monstrous economy and the "aegis" cheat, so it's not a problem you'd encounter in a multiplayer game unless you actually were playing with cheats, in which case I'd call it fair game.
EDIT:
Missed the new thread. Amiel, it's seems you've forgotten to post a link, bro.Last edited by Teddy; 2012-06-02 at 05:47 PM.
