Double down is when you double your bet on getting one more card and only one more card. You cant just double your bet and stay. You have to take another card.

No, I mean, the two scenes do not add up. You simply cannot have your grip "slip" from that position or anywhere else in the remaining arc and have the blade end up in that final position, let alone that orientation.

At first I thought she had brought it up on the front trying to slice the orange in the upwards motion but was just to fast and now the sword was going behind her back.
But when you look at those small lines you see she actually brought it up behind her somehow, and is most likely trying to slice it during the downwards motion infront of her.

So I guess if she's losing grip on it at this point while the sword has forward and upwards momentum still, it might end up in the ceiling.
Maybe not exactly like it landed, but yes pretty close to it.

However that whole motion with the sword raising from behind is weird, odd and possibly anatomically impossible (which is probably why I figured it was the other way around at first). It may work I'm no swordfighter, but apperently jeph believes is does.

He doesn't eat Hope or be creepy, he is just Incredibly annoying to the other characters.
And his murder makes us laugh
