And dem violins.
But I think this one was more their "clean album". I wouldn't be surprised if they went back to growls the next one.
Although if they keep sounding like this, I honestly don't care.Awesome fremetar by wxdruid.

Re: Metal Thread VII: The Mosh Pit Don't Start 'Til We Walk In
I will admit to my obsession with Rammstein for the last year and a half or so. This has lead me into a world of Pandora including Samael (which I MUST purchase!!), Die Krupps, Eisbrecher, Emigrate, Megaherz, Celldweller, and a few others that pop up from time to time.
Is it an unhealthy obsession? I think not. Now my only real concern is how much longer it will be before they tour the States again.

Re: Metal Thread VII: The Mosh Pit Don't Start 'Til We Walk In
Give it a spin. It won't be to everyone's liking, but it's Orphaned Land
Word. NDH in general is pretty addictive. It's also the best driving music ever.
Samael gets little love, but Reign of Light is still one of my favourite albums ever (Lux Mundi was... okay).
Also ASP, Das Ich, Blutengel, and so on.Awesome fremetar by wxdruid.

Re: Metal Thread VII: The Mosh Pit Don't Start 'Til We Walk In
I find it is absolutely the BEST music for writing papers too or studying. Currently I only have Rammstein and Emigrate on my phone. I need to download some of the others to flesh it out a little. Those guys are incredible, but I feel like I at least must get Samael.
Otherwise, I may well be able to sing every single song when I see them again...not that this would be a bad thing...
I can't remember the name of the Samael song I like the most. I wish I could. They have an incredible sound!
Also, I like Eisbrecher better than Megaherz. I think they mesh better than the original band...
EDIT: Inch'Allah on Reign of Light. LOVE IT!Last edited by EmeraldRose; 2013-07-17 at 10:15 AM.

You weren't online, this place was more communal. >_>

Woh woh woh, are we talking about Industrial now?
Deathstars
Oomph!
T3R
Down Below
Akado
Psyclon 9
Columbine
That's actually all I can think of at the moment aside from what's already been mentioned. Unless I go into the more electronic stuff, or the obvious like NIN.Last edited by Nameless; 2013-07-17 at 04:29 PM.

Yes. His
makeupmanly corpse paint is highly attractive.
Though I do think that Hansel far more attractive.
I mean... he hasn't released any pictures, so I OBVIOUSLY have NO IDEA what he looks like, but I can tell by his musical talent and vocals that's he's fricking hawt.

Re: Metal Thread VII: The Mosh Pit Don't Start 'Til We Walk In
i especially like how you can hear is accent undr his shrieks
so cute
hansel must indeed be dreamy not that i know what he looks like
i think that under his grim corpse paint svartr has great bone structure
he must be a model on the side
i bet he has a smoking girlfriend
or just a really hot platonic friend who he hangs around sometime but a bunch of cool college girls he makes out with while shes not really there
OR BETTER YET
i get the sinking feeling him and hansel are like... dating
can i write fanfic about my favorite musicians?

Re: Metal Thread VII: The Mosh Pit Don't Start 'Til We Walk In
Well maybe a certain HANSEL is just jealous that his people LOST THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR
i wonder if he's ever thought of accepting peace love and the american way HUH?
anyway
in my fanfic hansel and svartr will have the occasional tiff but then collapse once more into the throes of their most kvlt amours
does that soudn good?

Re: Metal Thread VII: The Mosh Pit Don't Start 'Til We Walk In
Well, maybe SVARTR is suffering from an identity crisis because he isn't properly american but wishes he was, and takes his frustration out on Hansel because he's British, and the British Empire was far greater then the French one, and Svartr is actually French!
Yeah, sure. But don't forget that whilst Hansel likes his Kvltness, he's actually into loads of other types of music as well. However, he's not a huge Jazz fan, which upsets Svartr.

Re: Metal Thread VII: The Mosh Pit Don't Start 'Til We Walk In
Well maybe svartr just wants to returnto the land of his forefathers (metaphorical ones not real ones cuz the real ones are french) and is very sad and stuff and mean english types just make him cry himself to sleep and mean meanie heads like HANSEL just screw it up for him so yeah nice job hansel WHOEVER you are *cough* you lade svartr (whoever he is) cry
i think that svartr believes the only true music is black metal and jazz because they are the most pvre but MAYBE svartr likes his death metal too (as evidenced by his classic Purple Filth) but i get the feeling Svartr really liked working with hansel
but maybe in the future HANSEL should just become a better musician to appreciate it better (i went there )

Oh wow guys. I'm going to go listen to/look at these bands because you are too freaking hilarious! Consider me intrigued.
Also, in terms of amazing hotness, one can't help but be stunned by Richard from Rammstein. He is amazingly beautiful.

Re: Metal Thread VII: The Mosh Pit Don't Start 'Til We Walk In
Well, maybe Hansel can appreciate Jazz, but just can't really get into it, aside from Jazz fusion.
Maybe Svartr just needs to learn to appreciate Futurpop more! Ever thought of that?!
Ladies, please...

Re: Metal Thread VII: The Mosh Pit Don't Start 'Til We Walk In
What? I don't try and make music in my spare time when I'm not arting. I haven't got a several unfinished and half composed tracks I'll probably never get round to completing because I've had to drop music whilst I focus on other things. I don't even own any instruments or recording equipment or DAWs. Why would you even suggest such a thing? STOP ACCUSING ME WITH YOUR ACCUSATIONS. I'M JUST TRYING TO FIND A JOB RIGHT NOW OKAY GOD FEYTALIST WHY DO YOU HAVE TO KEEP ASKING ALL THESE QUESTIONS.
