So, weird thing just happened to me on the Sandswept forums. Yesterday, I made a post on this thread about when the next dev-vlog will be out. Anyway, a few minutes ago I was reading this other thread and this one guy made a very sterotypical and offensive joke about Italian Americans which ticked me off.
Then I check that dev vlog thread and the same guy replies to me saying this:
Maxios, if you do that again you will lose my respect.
I have absolutely no clue what this guy is talking about. Hell, I've never even heard of this guy before the the last few minutes

School starts back up on monday, and while I have a TA job lined up, I haven't managed to get in contact with the professor I will be working under. Thus I have no clue if he wants me to come introduce myself the first day of class, or who else I will be working with, or anything really. It is most sad.

And the mouthpiece to drive thing is probably because the driving school uses cars equipped with breathalyzers. I think they are normally installed at a court order because someone is too dumb to stop driving when totally hammered. Why a driving school uses them is beyond me.

Or some silly acronym* that you apparently use to describe the contraption that forces you to make a breath test for alcohol in order to start the car (I assume it's not all that common in English-speaking countries based on the clunky name). All driving schools are required to have these installed in all their cars since a few years back, and we have our own mouthpieces for obvious sanitary reasons.

*IID or BAIID according to Wikipedia. I'm not even going to write out what that stands for, it's just that unwieldy. We Swedes just call them "alkolås" ("alcolock" (it turns out Wikipedia accept this as a search word, but it's never mentioned anywhere in the article it redirects to)) instead.

EDIT: Ninja'd by Rockphed. I don't know if there actually has been a case of someone taking a driving lesson while drunk (although I wouldn't be surprised. Driving lessons are crazy expensive, so a student who'd been partying the whole night before would probably be reluctant to skip it), but hey, it's not like they hurt anyone.

I only know they exist because my dad was working on making a better one. He used me as his guinea pig. Ah, the joys of parental scientists.
