"Ooh, he's a dad,m." Keo has had a discussion about "dad"s before, so she understands that angle.

"Can I help with something?" Salix asks eagerly as her eyes roam over what Yuki has already recovered. She mostly wants to investigate the stuff to satisfy her curiosity, but she'll help while she does it.

"I think we might need some more help to get anything else out. I guess there might be some stuff deeper in the lake, but I can't see anything. The rest of the stuff doesn't seem that important. There is that door that is floating over there."

She points to the door. The ballista will probably need more people to get out then Yuki and Salix.

"I'm not sure if the three of us can get it all out of the water," Sophie says. She's a fairly small woman herself. "It's a good start, though."

When the sea elf wakes (no matter how long that may be), Lume will be standing by the bed, eager to hear how the elf came by the injuries Lume healed.

Salix peers at the door. "Let's go get that then." She runs toward the door, wadding into the water to get to it. Her dress is going to be a mess after this. If the door is too far out that she can't walk to it, she will be forced to stop, however. She doesn't know how to swim.

"Sure!" Brinika says. Justin is technically still a stranger, but the Applehills like him so he's probably alright.



Andy will find a plotclone of Reelshka in her cellar.

Reelshka's cellar

Andy appears here with a friendly smile.

"Hello Reelshka. I'm sorry to disturb you but I have a request."

Andy makes a step to the side offering her a view over the caped man behind Andy.

"This is Levi. He has a problem with an evil shadow that possess him every time he goes to sleep. He is willing to stop this, but he asked us for help. I thought maybe Pathfinder could help him. And that's why I'm here. Pathfinder and had a little missunderstanding. So could you ask him if he could help, please?"

A little breathless Andy stops.

[Lake]

"The chest was filled with a bunch of personal stuff. And there were some gold coins with faces on them. I put them over there." she points over to a sack near the barrels. "I couldn't read anything on them but there was writing."

She heads over to help Salix get the door, if it was too deep for her to get it Yuki should be able to wade out deeper to get it.

"Where do you sleep?" Vasi asks Keo. "Is it a safe place?"

Garden Path

Oddball is here! He was asleep in a patch of long grass, but now he's awake and slowly waddling towards the group. He gazes suspiciously at Hinata, but I don't know if he's met Hadrian. Either way, Hinata's taller and therefore more likely to be a threat. He's currently headed towards Jamie's foot."Oddish!"

Also, Hadrian has a few memories of battle, but in most of them the emphasis is on protecting Jamie rather than anything else, and emotion-wise there's lots of love for and loyalty to Jamie; anything else is purely background noise. He is feeling happy, and is suspicious of the stranger, but he's suspicious of everybody and always happy around Jamie.

Infirmary

The Sea Elf awakes, and looks around. Upon seeing Lume he jumps, clearly startled, and says his first words at GLoG. "Merciful Sea-Mother!" It's clear he has no idea what Lume is, nor whether or not he's a threat.

Lake

The door's large, but it's not too heavy and could potentially be manhandled to shore by one person. Two people make it easier; unfortunately, I suspect Salix mainly gets in the way. The ballista's larger, and three people can't pick it up; it looks designed to fit onto a turntable mounted to a large, flat surface (like the top of a tower, or in this case a ship's deck) instead of being dragged across a battlefield. It can be dragged, though, at least far enough that it's not in the water any more.

Reelshka's cellar

Andy appears here with a friendly smile.

"I see. I suppose I could ask him. If he can't help, we can look for another solution."

"Looks like we can't move this ballista, but I can't say I want a weapon to float in the lake. We'll have to ask a couple strong people for help," Sophie says.

Get in the way? Of course Salix won't get in the way!
...Okay, maybe she will, but she's doing her best!

The little dryad pushes at the door, struggling a bit due to her height. By time they reach shore again, Salix will be breathing a bit heavily from the exertion, but she has a big smile on her face.

With Salix's help Yuki pulls the door up on shore.

"Yeah, I think some ropes would be helpful as well. I'm Yuki by the way."

She says introducing herself to Sophie.

If it helps any, the ballista is broken. The windlass is jammed and the rope that propels the bolt is missing. I know there's a proper word for it, but I really can't remember what it is.

Also, from quite deep in the lake there's a trail of gold coins, but they're probably hard to notice whilst splashing around wading for big bits of flotsam.

"I'm Sophie. I haven't seen you around before. Are you new?" the woman asks.

"I see. I suppose I could ask him. If he can't help, we can look for another solution."

Oh, hey! I didn't see anyone's post. Sorry.

Levi has, obviously, followed Andy to this Reelshka's place.

The guy with a sword (whose cape has stopped blowing around dramatically by now) looks like a normal guy with a normal spirit. The reason being that he's only possessed by an evil shadow when he wakes up, or when he becomes particularly mind-dominated by a spell.

Levi smiles and adds a "Thanks" to Reelshka for her help.

Salix plops down on the door for a rest and lets the adults talk for now. She sets about untangling her 'hair' a bit. She's let it get messy and wading around in water hasn't helped.

"Yeah sort of. Alysha brought me here to see Quinn. Quinn was able to grow back my wings, and I hope she might be able to help me recover some of my memory."

Sophie may notice the old bloodstains on the back of Yuki's robes. They have been washed and are mostly covered by her wings, but it is still possible to notice.

The ballista remains sitting, broken, in the water.

Maybe when it's out, GLoG could use it for defence, in case the cat people armies or some such come back?

Lume immediately tries to calm the sea elf."Relax," he says, trying to soften his normally booming voice. "You're in a safe place now. Your wounds have been healed, and no one can hurt you here. Now, if you wouldn't mind telling me how you got so badly hurt in the first place?"

"The ship was attacked. That's all I know. How is she? Does she still float?" He's very anxious about the ship; it's been his home for all his life, and he can't imagine life without her.

"Alright, I'll see you later," Justin says before walking out of the Main Cabin.

Justin ambles his way to the cabin's GLoG had given to the slaves. It had been a while since he last saw them. He wonders if they've all chosen names and how they've spent their time.

Justin knocks on the cabin door, half-excited half-anxious.

"Most people here sleep in the cabins. It's warmer in there." Vasi says.

"I slept in the cabins when it was cold,m. It's not cold right now,m. It's getting colder, but it's not cold,m." It would be a bit chilly for most people, but between the fur and the robe Keo might be comfortable yet.

That is rather tactless, yes. "What of her crew? How many survivors are there? What's their rank?" He's not reacting to Lume's appearance because he's assuming Lume is a spirit of some kind bound to serve a City Elf Daemonologist. The only other options he can think of are that Lume's a spirit accompanying a Shaman or a Spiritualist, and neither magical tradition is practised by elves and elves are nigh-universally loathed due to their previous attempts at empire building, haughty demeanour and belief that other races are worthless save as slaves.

Refugee Slave Cabins

Well, I don't know about no-longer-Slave and no-longer-Object, but the ex-Temple Slaves are here. Justin is greeted by the first slave to choose a name as they fled the Hermitage, Daisy. Daisy is a meek-looking man with with brown hair and watery green eyes. When he sees Justin, his eyes widen and he bows. "It is good to see you again, Sir! I would like to inform you that we have all chosen names and are settling in nicely, Sir!"

The Sea Elf bursts into tears. He's not likely to stop any time soon; he's just been told that not only has his home sunk, his whole family is dead.

I'm really sorry; I'm rubbish at keeping track of all the floating debris; there was a mast, with some rigging and most of a sail, in the lake as well. It's still there, with the ballista; it's larger, and more unwieldy.

Oh, dear. Justin really hoped they'd be past thinking he was their master. Or Daisy could just be super polite. "That's good to hear, and I'd like to learn all of your names," he starts, putting on a happy face. "And remember, you don't have to call me sir. I'm way too young to be a sir. May I come in?" He really wants to ease them out of the slave mentality. Asking their permission on simple matters seems like a good way to start.
