Why would he stop playing Obi-Wan? He's in all three movies, albeit as a disembodied voice or a spectral figure. Play up the "disembodied voice" angle and he can be on par with the others when it comes to dialogue.

If he wants more screen time, though, he might go for Chewie. He's being NPC'd at the moment.

So, for those more familiar with th EU than me... on a scale from 1 to ten, how ironic is Corey's "I will be the least powerful Jedi ever"?

Luke is above average in everything, but not really great at anyone thing. He develops many more of the traits of his teachers than those of power house force user. (IE the EU adopted Luke as the baseline Jedi, or as I think of him, an above average example)

Yeah Luke is Mario, but honestly has enough raw power and focus that he's basically unstoppable in the EU despite not having any "specialties". Individual other Jedi in both antiquity and Luke's lifetime manage more impressive one-off feats, but Luke's basically the Jedi.

So it's fairly ironic. Also I think it might be an ironic echo of Anakin saying that he would be "the most powerful Jedi ever" at some point in canon. I think the Skywalkers, particularly, are supposed to be stupidly strong in the Force in terms of raw ability, thanks to Anakin being Force Jesus.

Sometimes, you need an outside perspective to properly appreciate the game and setting all over again. For one thing, my word, lightsabers are actually horrifically unsafe weapons to use. That somehow never really registered with me before.

I, for one, cannot wait to see how he handles the next part where Obi-wan has his eyes covered. You thought the pillar of plasmery death was dangerous before, wait until you can't even see it...

I think it's semi-canon that that is why only Jedi wield lightsabers, because their weird Force precognition is necessary to avoid mutilating themselves with their own weapon by accident.

Yeah, I know it's been done, but it always struck me as an EU Badass Corollary.
1) Lightsabers are badass.
2) Only Jedi are badass enough to wield lightsabers.
3) My EU protagonist is so badass, he/she wields a lightsaber without being a Jedi! OMGZ!

The early art's a different case, but concept art always is.
