    If something is beyond our collective sight, it is currently not on the map, even though I may have outlined that area of the map. If you have questions, post a move and I'll let you know what you see so you can adjust your actions. A little less metaknowledge should make the fights feel more realistic.

    Well, that initiative roll sucked. Though Miriam should go with Natalia. You'd think with a +4 to Initiative checks I'd roll above 10 more often. I think I roll the worst initiative on average if you take my comparatively sky-high modifiers into account. Anyway, would Natalia be able to light and throw a regular torch in one round?

    Natalia can't see, but she can hear the orcs coming. She takes a flask of liquid fire from Miriam, moves closer to the enemy, and lobs it at the closest orc.

    Assuming the orcs don't make it to us in one round, Natalia throws an alchemist fire flask at the nearest orc. I don't know how far away he is, but it's probably 20-40 feet; I haven't added in the range modifiers, or concealment because they might be visible at that point. Even if it misses, if it lands in the square it'll do 1 damage, which is better than nothing. And the fire might illuminate further for a couple of rounds.

    Hm, well it is a ranged touch attack, if the orc's only 20 feet away then that might have actually hit...Obviously Natalia's probably going to move a bit if it means the difference between hitting and missing.

    If Natalia's move action was to take a flask from Miriam, who I assume is next to her because she was buffing Kurt and Natalia's next to Kurt, then she takes a 5 foot step to BE 47. If she had used the move action to move forward and throw the flask because Miriam was next to her, then she moved to BH 49 and threw the flask from there.

    As the stout dwarf is moving up, Miriam moves to Valen and speaks a strong sermon to the Cudgel filling the warrior with divine strength. Valen then moves up, quickly, his blade ready on the opposite side of the corridor..."We need light!"

    Shiny springs forward, apparently unphased by the dark cooridors and sounds of charging orcs. He smiles broadly, "Good thing that I, Shiny, Skilled Dancer and Lantern Maker could combine my crafts to such effect." as he speaks he opens his hands and four flowing shers shoot out of his hand drunkenly, each speeding a bright light...

    The bright lights spread out evenly in the center of the upcoming room revealing the presence of 6 Orcs. Three are dressed in Leather Armor and are wielding Greataxes. Two older looking Orcs are wielding Falchions and dressed in Hide armor. Another, much older and hardened looking Orc is wearing a dull breastplate and wielding a wicked looking Double Axe...

    The two Hide clad orcs move up, the first Charging Valen. Valen attempts to cut the Orc down with his readied blade... and manages a lethal blow before the Orc's axe fell...

    The second moves up and takes cover behind the wall...

    Emboldened by Valen and Mithrils' success, chagrined by her earlier thoughtlessness, and determined not to let that very scary-looking orc chop Mithril in half in retaliation, Natalia runs forward and attempts to stab the hiding orc with the dagger, knowing it won't be enough to bring him down but hoping for Kurt to finish the job.

    Kurt steps forward, then, his increased size filling the space next to Natalia and Valen. With a roar, he attacks the orc within his range, aiming to finish these off as quickly as possible.

    Shiny really wants to include the orc warrior in the range of this spell- getting him asleep would be too good- so I'm going to have to risk including Natalia in the range. I'm centering it so that it will hit four orcs (assuming none have >4 HD) before it can reach her, so if any of them fail she's safe.

    Rolling them raw, DC 16 Will save. I don't know their HD- it will hit the ones with the fewest first, and among ties those closer to the center (Ob and Oc). Orc warrior could easily have too many HD once the little ones are down, but then at least so will Natalia.

    At the fighting continues the sounds of more approaching Orcs can be heard coming from the East entrence.

    One Orc, smaller and more agile than the rest moves quickly wielding an Orc Double axe and Leather armor, he moves to the Eastern side of the tunnel...

    A massive Orc with only his Right eye and wearing fine chain, The Left Eye of Gruumsch, moves quickly wielding a massive and scary looking Greataxe. He moves forward and is on the Western side of the tunnel...

    A female Orc, with her left eye hung around around neck and wearing a well kept breast plate, The Left Eye of Gruumsch, comes forward holding a heavy shield and heavy mace.

    Three other younger Orcs wearing leather and wielding Falchions move forward as well, but none can keep up with the Double Axe wielder and the Right Eye of Grrumsch.
