Jace frowns. It's really not my call. I don't know enough to tell you what the problem is or how serious it is. I'd suggest you get help, but I can't even tell you where to find a specialist since again, I don't know what the actual problem is. Although I will say that GLoG will probably not charge you, which might be good, since I'm pretty sure you don't have any money. But like I said, as long as it doesn't go past blowing up small objects you can stay here, considering you probably don't have money for a hotel either."

"Sound's good. And on that note, I'd like you to meet the rest of my family." He smiles as the tail uncoils from around Willow's ankle. "My dad came and visited me in the hospital after you left. We...got to talking, sorted some things out. He's having this big dinner party, sort of a family get-together. He and mom haven't been in town for a while, and Tori's coming home for a visit, and apparently bringing her boyfriend. I want you to come. Maybe bring your mom and dad, get everyone properly acquainted. I know Uncle Raril and Aunt Zee are coming." Oh, boy. Auntie Cthulhu and Uncle 'I Own The Local Bad Guy Bar!' Arthur's family tree has some interesting people in it.

"Sure. My mother will almost certainly be able to go. You'd have to check with my dad - it would depend on the date." Don't be silly, Willow. There is no calendar in the Nexus!

"Thanks for the offer. I'll try to not stay too long, and I'll try to curb the spontaneous combusion." Out of sheer curiosity, Dante rifles through his pockets on the off-chance he has anything resembling money or any possessions. "No, no I don't think I do. What's used for money here anyway?"

"Pretty much anything that has value somewhere and is a plausible form of currency. Don't ask about exchange rates, it's best not to think about it too hard."

Gordon's Hidden Lair

Deep in the depths of the theater owned openning by Rogar, but truely by Gordon, the ex-head of AMEN looks over a large table, showing the small section of the MagCave which he knows about.

"Hmm, still not enough information about his home to raid it. I need someone on the inside, or someone who was there before I put together a plan."

Gordon walks away from the table, pasting sleeping Catwalks. He reaches into a pocket of his tenchcoat and pulls out his phone.

"Rogar, would you please look into finding one of Magtok's employees? I need a few answers about Magtok's cave."

Jace shrugs

No, because the rocks don't actually have value anywhere. It only works if they do. And I said plausible, they'd at least have to be shiny or something for it to be believable. Still, most people only use what's obviously currency or trade-able goods. That's why he said "plausible."

[Statue Park]

An unlikely home this small park was once overgrown with trees and bushes. Over time the wood has slowly been whitled away to make a lot more room in the park. Spread throughout the park are hundreds of wood carvings depecting all sorts of things. Giant robots, dragons, elves and humans, even carvings that look to be models of buildings you would see in the city. All the carvings are done with an incredible eye for detail. Beside the carvings there are a few tents set up in one corner of the park. There is a picnic table and fire pit. Not to far from the tents there looks to be an old well.

Rayum leads Toby here and heads towards the tents. A young human woman steps out of one of the tents heading to the fire to put a kettle of water on.

Toby follows Rayum in and takes a look around. Interesting place you got here.

"Well, it depends. 'May or May Not be Possessed' doesn't look too good on a resume. You may want to tackle one problem at a time."
Neither Jace nor Zebes seems to have any problems sharing the conversation.

"I suppose so..." Dante says a bit disheartened. "So do you think this Good League of Good can help me with that? Or should I try somewhere else?"

"I think they might, but I've never actually been to see them myself. I don't really know how good they are. But don't worry too much. You'll figure something out. And just because I said I don't know now doesn't mean I'm useless, you know. I am a mage, after all. Maybe we can find something out for you with some effort."

Rayum smiles proudly, taking that as a compliment. "Thanks. Lou is over here. He is the one who is sick." He leads Toby over to the tents and waves hello to the woman. "Ella this is a doctor from GLoG, he is going to try and help Lou."

"Oh good, he doesn't look to much better. I just gave him a cup of tea." She eyes Toby with a look of suspicion with just a dash of hope. She has long brown hair that looks more then a bit dirty and fairly unkempt.

Dante perks up at the idea that Jace would actively help him. He had thought that Jace meant he would not be able to help earlier, and that he would just offer a place to stay. "You can figure out what's wrong with me?"

A cup of tea can help anyone. The Druid smiles at Ella and heads over to the tents to inspect Lou.

"I can try. Divination has never been my strongest school but I can manage it."

Jace gets up from the table and moves across the room to the couch, waving Dante over.
"I need a little bit of comfort for this. Sit down. I trust you have no problems with me doing all the magic scans I can think of?"

"I suppose not." Although nervous, Dante follows Jace's instruction to the letter, hoping for at least some kind of result.

Jace's Place

Zebes flies over and takes his proper place on Jacen's right shoulder. Jace chants quietly, fingers moving at his sides. His pale eyes glow a bit blue, while the pocket dragon stands motionless.
Jace casts, in order, Detect Magic, Detect Evil, Detect Chaos, Identify, and True Sight.

Jace's Place

There's a lot going on inside Dante. He registers as human, but inside him is a spiraling contortion of other "things." They could be souls. They could be something else entirely. Some show as evil. Some show as chaotic. Many show as both. Some trigger neither. But all are brimming with magic, including Dante himself, somehow...

One particular aura, a bright red being of malevolence, both chaotic and evil according to Jace's sight, keeps trying to break free from the swirling mass of magic inside Dante.

Jace shakes his head as his eyes clear. "Eeyep, there's a boatload of beings inside you. Pretty diverse in terms of ideology, but you've got at least one trying to exert its influence over you, hence the explosions

[Statue Park]

Inside the tent Ella just came out of is a young person wrapped up in a sleeping bag. It is hard to tell right away if the person is male or female right away, his face fairly androgynous. He has short dark hair and dark tan skin. He has three distinctive ear piercings, each one looks like a silver spike of various sizes. The largest is almost two inches long, the smallest is about an inch. A close look at them and you might notice small carvings just barely etched into the metal. Like his gender it is hard to guess his age as well, probably still a teenager from the look of it, but it wouldn't be hard to imagine him as in his late 20's if you ignore his slight stature.

Lou isn't looking very healthy. Beads of sweat forming on his forehead. He looks up a bit hearing Tobias but his stark blue eyes don't seem to focus in on him very well right now. A cup of steaming tea is sitting on the ground next to him. His lips start to open to speak, then close again without saying anything.

Hiya, Lou. I'm a Doctor. Kinda. Instead of medicine, I'm going to get magic all up in here. No need to worry! Toby starts chanting a diagnostic spell that should, hopefully, show him what is wrong with the guy.

Lou seems to have caught a virus, probably from a sick animal, or a person who had contact with one. On top of that his body shows slight damage, like you would see in someone who just ran a marathon or two without enough water or food. OK, slight might be a bit of an understatment, esspecially when coupled with the virus.

Lou looks slightly concerened when when Toby starts to chant. The concern quickly turns into curiosity and he watches him carefully. Rayum the Kobold keeps his head peaked in the tent watching the two of them. Ella sits near the fire pulling out some sewing. If you listen carefuly it is possible to hear someone also moving in the other tent next to the one they are in.

"Oh..." Dante's face turns white. "Is that all?" he says with a half-hearted sarcasm.

Jace's Place

Jace holds up his hands. "Relax, relax. If it couldn't do much when you were confused and amnesiac, it shouldn't be able to get control without outside help.
So don't freak out, okay?

When my parents disappeared and Tori's money dried up, her friends kinda just...dropped her by the wayside. Mom and Dad are decent people, too. It'd be good for you to formally meet the rest of the family." He smiles at Willow again, broadly this time. He's a bit enthusiastic after all that's happened. Things with Willow seem to be looking up, so he's willing to let himself relax a bit. It's one thing that's gone right.
