Important Note for Villains

Conflict is great! It's the heart of any story, and there isn't much to roleplay without it. However, as a player to player courtesy, please check in with the players who are active at any given time before launching an attack. Not everyone wants to roleplay combat scenes, and sometimes there are other things going on that players don't want to interrupt for a random fight. Either a PM/IM to players, a short post in thread to say (Mind if I introduce a villain here?) or a longer post in the OOC thread if it's a larger plot is appreciated.

We have no banner. You, you, you, and you in the back that never gets to post because s/he is usually ignored...FIND AN AVATARIST AND SEND HIM/HER THIS WAY. Heck, even if someone here is semi-good with photoshop so he can combine our avatars into a cheesy simple banner... That'll be fine too.

Sioda, Nirva, Pesty, and Tiri arrive at the range; Sioda is in her light armor, while Nirva and Pesty are preparing for their role as mission control.

Tiri is still in the armorsuit that Pesty made for her, and carrying a segmented staff, as well as an odd-looking pistol.

Sioda looks understandably nervous, toying with a small psicrystal; Pesty keeps flipping through folders of her work, checking and re-checking stats she established in the first place.

Tiri goes over to Sioda, smiling a bit at her, though she doesn't speak just yet, not sure if she should.

"Sharing is always best," Andy says, nodding.

Sam finishes shooting at the range, cleans her guns, finishes her preparations, and turns to the gathered group. She doesn't look terribly pleased to see Dani there. Or all the girls who don't look like they've ever seen combat.


Samael considers rewinding time so they can all hear Reinholdt talk about thwarting Tobias' plans and how the silver-haired assassin might be sent after him. But he just laughs and walks away. He gets all the way to the end of the hall before realizing that leaving Civvy alone with the flaming hawt man might have been a mistake, but to turn back now would look pretty foolish. So he forces himself to turn the corner and find something else to do.

Sioda winces a little at Sam's expression.
I... think this is everyone. Pesty and Nirva will be our mission control of sorts, keeping us up to speed on the tech Shuna's stolen and all... Pesty, you traced the teleport, right?

The catgirl nods, opening her folder. All we know about the location is that it's not Shuna's deific realm and it seems to be an old military fort town. That and, y'know, where it is.

You just owe me a favor. I don't know why you think you're an enemy of Tobias, but I'm certainly not going to get in trouble for helping you out. He shrugs and takes awhile to look at Civvy before ending his spell. Anything else?

As far as Samael knows/cares, "The Black Fox" is just a nom de guerre for Tobias. And since his employer is Tobias (technically, he works for the entire Royal Family, but so far only Kynegetis has had anything to do with him. But just picture Jamie somehow getting him to assassinate her enemies! ), Samael is interpreting Reinholdt's words as an expression of worry that the pink-eyed man's recent actions will have him declared an enemy of the Crown. But perhaps that is reading too much into it.


Both of Samantha's hands are currently occupied with the Right Arm of the Free World. She looks her wife over and turns on the Goswell Scowl. You don't look like you're ready to fight a goddess with two suits of power armor.

Chris nods his head towards Sioda, placing the giant double barreled railgun against his shoulder with one hand, and holding the scabbard containing the vorpal sword in the other. He looks...distinctly different than he normally does. His features look a bit more chiseled and angular, and his demeanor is a bit more "action hero" than normal.

"Hey guys. So I hear someone kidnapped my wife. Again. Where are they and do they bleed?"

Pesty steps in to infodump.
'Kay, have you ever seen my daughter in her armorthingy? 'Cause this one life goddess Carrie was supposed to be working with stole two more recently-deveoped ones and your wife, and it mighta been premeditated.

Aaaaand speaking of which, since Nirva is going to be running the screens with me back here, we can let somebody use the Vauer unit, preferably whoever's going to need its protection most.
She hands Chris the limited dossier she's managed to pull together about the enigmatic Shuna; the picture matches the one Carrie had. They know she's a minor life goddess not associated with any pantheon and has been quietly doing her job for several centuries.
Oh, and slightly good news: only one Aleph Unit can be used at a time by someone, so it's not like she can just stack Tezsa on top of Sameka... of course, that also means she might arm an accomplice with one of them, in which case you have two Aleph Riders to deal with and yeeahhh I'd really recommend someone bring Vauer just in case. She holds the iron-grey belt and smallish circular module up. 'Least that way you guys will have two units in use as well.

((Dani would be the cutest Kamen Rider homage ever. ))

"They're a life goddess. So not unless they want to, one would assume," Tiri says dryly, in response to Chris's question, opening her helmet, and drawing a long, thin, thorn from a pouch on her belt, then, unless stopped, pushing it into the left side of her face, along her cheekbone.

The helmet doesn't open or come off, so to... um... stab herself in the face she'll have to disengage the suit. They're not built to be activated 24/7, after all, and eating and so forth isn't possible with them on.

And yes, stabbing herself in the face is what she's doing. It'll make more sense if someone asks her about it.
