I did too! I was not exactly sure what a prelim is, but I assumed it was a school-related test or project, due to Coffee being all amazing and studying amazing stuff like genetics.

I call them exams, but that may just be because the Danish term for them is "Eksamener" (Pronounced like Exam-ehn-urh), however. ^_^'

I think it's amazing how much we know about the genome. Do you know that we have a chromosome that consists of 2 fused chromosome from our shared ancestor with the other great apes? And that we can pinpoint the site of fusion within 15 base pairs of 243 million?

I call prelims/exams "tests" for the most part. And about what Coffee said, I didn't have any misreadings until after everyone started posting their misreadings. Now I start reading it as "blame genetics gremlins" or "blame genetics pre-limbs".

I read it as "Preliminary exams" which I have seen from time to time in various books.

That's awful to hear. Get better soon, and in the meantime, don't overwork yourself. You've got enough on your plate already, and I wouldn't want you to feel any worse simply because I wanted a new comic and didn't want to wait for it.

Get plenty of rest, and don't worry too much about the wait. We can be patient.
