    Even as Teach hacks down the first zombie in a single chop Solomon readies for the next - a massive thrust of the sword as he tucks down behind his shield. A prayer to Saranrae as the sword begins to glow a dull blue...

    Even as the that happens the other zombies withdraw, a whispering moan somewhere in the main chamber calling them back - a cool dead intelligence not stupid enough to force the zombie minions down the corridor.

    Above them all Vanthus shrugs. "Enjoy your tombs you poor fools. I shall enjoy moving back into my home." The door above slamming shut seconds later as the bastard seals you in.

    Stareing up as he closes the door above Ophelia looks livid and quite terrfiying screaming a curse at him in a bestial tongue

    [I]in abyssal/I] Plague and eternal torment is too good for you, you worthless sack of living effluence!

    ...and the door slams shut cutting her off leaving her fuming with anger.

    Turning back to the others and assessing their bleak situation she reaches a hand out, barging past Teach a little taking out her wand with her tail to use on Soloman, stretching it through the gap if she can.

    Out of my way James, quick!

    He voice more desperate to help than maim and rend now

    If he thinks it is do-able then climb (NATURE 20 woooooop). then with the help of some daggers get it so that a touch will be stuck and can burn the trap door (aimed at the catch if the door is locked. Then take my torch and light it.

    The second zombie collapses in an umoving heap upon its dead comrades. Even as Solomon stumbles back leaning against the wall, clutching a hand to his bleeding shoulder Ophelia moves forward and presses the wand against it - a wave of cool blue energy healing up the bite marks.

    He glances down at the bite marks, "I hope these guys don't carry any disease, or I'm in trouble." He looks up the corridor where the rest of the zombies have retreated. "Is it a bad sign when the zombies pull back?"..

    Darth looks up at the walls, the 30ft sheer rock wall glittering with a wet sheen of salt moisture... It doesn't look like a good idea and the trapdoor - massive wooden planks of wet driftwood doesn't look very flammable. And the grinding sound above does sound a lot like heavy rocks being dropped on top of it.

    Instead the slight little thief sneaks forward until he can get a look at the main chamber - a slight amount of light barely illuminated by 2 corners and dim light from Ophelia and Solomon's magic. 4 remaining zombies stand in a loose semi-circle waiting for you... While at the back in the deep shadows a better dressed zombie stands, a cutlass in his hand and a glimmer of intelligence in his shiny red eyes....

    How are the wounds doing? Teach looks over Solomon quickly but leaves him to Ophelia's more expert care.

    Well, it seems Lavinia's dislike of her brother is well founded. Sinister plots and undead. How unpleasant. I'm looking forward to killing him slowly.

    If we can't go back, I suppose we will have to go through. Best give it a moment for everyone to collect themselves... Teach glances over at Ophelia, trying to work out if she's nice again or still terrifying.

    Ophelia Attempts to give everyone guidance one by one before the combat so hopefully when it starts everyone has a +1 in round 1. If not she will focus on Soloman and dirk since they have the range and that's what looks to be out best option for minimising harm back on us.

    He leans around the corner and fires at the nearest one before stepping back and allowing the next person to have a shot, a disgusted snort as his bolt flies wide of the mark,

    The bolt and the bullet slam into the nearest zombie that despite a moan of protest from the intelligent one in the corner lurches forward to attack!

    The zombie charges in, hungry for the blood of the living. Teach meets the charge with the tip of his halberd, aiming to skewer the beast through its chest and slash outwards, ripping it in half.

    The halberd stabs into the incoming zombie but appears to have no effect. Teach drags the point free then spins the axe blade round, attempting to decapitated the creature.

    The zombie is hopelessly butchered as the halberd cleaves it in two. The rest of the zombies pulling back in a defensive circle around their crazy zombie leader, words mumbled as a haze of depression settles on the party
