Interesting. If you look carefully, you can see she's shouting out "Me! ME!" in the pannel near the end, although that could be clever cryptogramming

She says "me" later too, I think it probably means "no".

If it were possible to give a standing ovation in a forum, I would be doing just that. This is one of the most fabulous things I have ever seen and/or read. There were a few good chuckles at the beginning, and the dialogue, the twist, story progression.. wow.

This really does contrast Nale with Xycon. While Xycon has immense amounts of power, Nale has to use deception to make up for his inadequacies, as well as have a highly competent team.

He's lost his team; now his deceptions don't work. He's pretty much screwed.


Dang though, getting IMPALED. Hah, Elan is awsome in combat! Then again though, Nale WAS in melee to prevent magic, and without armor and only a dagger; Elan had a +3 keen rapier. It wasn't really a fair fight. :3

Alright! Haley is back in action, and now no-one can say Elan has no idea about how she feels about him. Truly excellent comic. Also, nobody else has mentioned this, but how scummy is Nale? He was trying to make Elan kill Haley. Then he no doubt would have used that fact to destroy Elan. Honestly, I know how good a recurring villain he is, but if Elan went nuts and killed Nale in the next comic? I honestly would not mind at all.

Oh yeah, and the bam, kick it up a notch line by Elan was so a Futurama referene, dont think anyone mentioned it yet. Elzar the chef's trademark hahaha
