I was heading to bed a couple of nights ago when I noticed that my hair has reached that stage when it falls into quite half-decent curls. So, I got the camera and took a pair of pictures before heading off to sleep:

My second cousin brought one of those to Thanksgiving, if you know what I mean.

Man that bugger was tall though. And lanky. Made my 6'5" brother look short in comparison between his thinness and height. Swear he was 6'8" or 6'9" at least. Wish I'd managed to get a decent picture with him. Only shot I know I'm in is the group shot of about 50-odd people with me scrunched in the middle with my brothers behind a couple of great-aunts.

Whereas I'm nowhere near the center of my country, and yet am still roughly about the middle in terms of north & south, and reaching the southern coast for traditional family gathering day of gluttony took me well over 10 hours. Granted, part of that was avoiding the part of the Interstate that was flat-out STOPPED for over an hour due to a horrible wreck. XD
