But she also shows little sign of caring about whether it was a good idea - at least up to the point where it sinks in with her that she may have gone too far. And, cynically, it's not 100% clear that she cares about the other people much then; she mostly turns relatively "nice" when other people are pissed off enough at her to be inconvenient for her.

Thanks. Plus, May is, by her own admission, a diagnosed sociopath, who acts like one.

And anyway, I said that was a cynical reading of her behaviour - though not an indefensible one. Telling a flaky, semi-sociopathic character with a well-hidden nice side from a manipulative sociopath with just enough sense to back off when she's pushed people too far is quite hard. May will almost certainly turn out to be the former, because comedy, but there's no absolute proof that her occasional pet-the-dog moments and admissions of vulnerability are sincere. She acts too much like a jerk, too much of the time, to inspire perfect trust.

If other people feel instinctive sympathy for May, well, fair enough. But distrusting her doesn't strike me as heartless; it strikes me as sensible, absent more evidence of her hidden niceness. And she steered damn close to bullying Marigold in those recent strips, which means that sympathising with Marigold puts a black mark against May.

Actually, I mildly suspect she "likes" Dale so she was testing whether Marbear was a worthy rival. Why did she help Dale? He needed the help.

Given the chaos that Pintsize wreaks with his normal body, I highly doubt Marten's going to ever aid him in getting a full size one, and there's no way he'd ever be able to obtain the cash for it on his own.

Even Martin's not that apathetic. Pintsize has a negative work ethic, so he'd never be able to afford a body on his own. That means Martin would have to buy it, and even assuming he could afford it, setting Pintsize loose on the world with opposable thumbs would be new and impressive levels of irresponsibility.

As for pintsize, remember how long marten was fine with pintsize using a military grade laser weapon? Im not saying it wouldnt be a bad idea to give him a human form chassis, im just saying there is precedent for marten to do really dumb things.

Except that is apathy. Apathy is Marten's defining vice, so it's entirely appropriate for him to not care enough to remove said laser until the feds force him to.

Buying Pintsize a mobile chassis would be actively exerting himself, rather than passively observing. That's not a purchase you make because you don't care, and it can't even be an impulse buy like the fancy guitar was unless he wins another drunken bet with Hannelore's mother.

No, AFAIK, it will be for everyone. It's just that at that level of funding he'll have the time/money to create a second comic along side QC. as said on his Patreon page:
