Doing a mini vote tally to catch up on who's where with the votes. I'm only focusing on the top three names of the day, since there's only 1.5 hours left or so.

I hope I didn't miss anything, though if someone crossed out their vote and didn't replace it with something else, I definitely missed that.

Switching away from FC to Dr Whooves to makes the tallies closer. The point of this was to try and get several close wagons to test the Accountant claim, and if FC's running away with it then that's no good.

I'll move to Recaiden from TFT then. Now it's 9/6/6, so if 2 people voting for FC (which I'm still not crazy about, though I admit his continued silence wins no points) happen to stop by and pick one of the other two, we'd have 7/7/7 with Whooves' vote condemning FC. In theory, anyways.

Edit: Legato ninja'd me while I was double-checking my basic arithmetic. Now it's 9?/7/6.

Fleeing Coward has the highest value currently. As the game offs the first player to reach the draw, we actually need one of the two other candidates to have one more vote. If Fleeing Coward still dies, then we'll know if Whooves was the accountant, assuming I'm interpreting how the accountant interacts with the death rules correctly.

Any reason why we need a triple tie? You could have just gone onto DoctorWhooves to make it 9/7/5, needing only one person to switch in order to test the tie at 8/8/5, with DoctorWhooves breaking the tie to kill FC (though FC would be lynched normally in pretty much any tie scenario we concoct, so.. not sure about what results we'd get)?

((Or 9/8/5, meaning a switch would make it 8(+1?)/9/5, and it would create a tie where (I'm assuming) FC would be lynched. That said, I'm not sure I want to cut the situation that close, especially as I'm not confident who would be lynched then...))

Assuming we can manage it, a three way tie leaves fewer possible people the accountant could be if there are some shenanigans occurring. Gives slightly more veracity to Whooves' claim, though perhaps it doesn't need it given no counter claim. I'll check back in an half an hour and if a three-way is far off I can change my vote.

EDIT: I think you both have the tiebreakers correct. If Whooves' hits the same number as FC, FC will be lynched.

I think it's too risky to make it close. One of the wolves on the short list to be lynched could switch their vote at the last minute. Or FC could switch to DoctorWhooves "to save himself".

I can understand why a couple of those people might point at me but bladescape's vote feels opportunistic to me since he knows I probably won't be awake to respond and there's something weird about Abhorsens last post.

In total agreement with this, which is why I'm switching my vote to Dr Whooves. That makes it 8 Whooves vs.

On that note, what happens if there's a tie?
Narrators differ on how to approach this, but generally (and in every game I've ever run), if there's a tie, the person who reached the number of votes FIRST gets lynched. So if six people voted for Haruki, Haruki, Wolfbane, Haruki, Wolfbane, and Wolfbane in that order, Haruki would get lynched, because Haruki reached three votes first. Of course, if the next two people to vote point at Wolfbane and Haruki, Wolfbane gets lynched for reaching four first.

Can we change our votes?
Yes. Standard procedure is to cross out your vote. (Haruki) and then post your new vote. If you're doing so immediately, you can just edit your post with the new vote, but if you're changing your mind after other people have posted, please add your new point in a new post. That way I won't have any counting accidents if you decide to change your vote at the end of the day.

Actually you voting on Dr. Whooves would be extremely helpful, particularly since I just realized we may not be told if there's a tie. (This would cause FC to be lynched, since he reached 9/10 first.)
