Re: Characters you can't stat in 3.5
Hehe. Most of the best TO/very high PO has little to do with epic spells, precisely because most challenges become moot the instant RAW mitigation enters the picture. Want to be a character from DBZ, but without the annoying technique warm-up times? I'm sure there is a spell for that. Want to be able to make tanks explode with your fist? Spell for that. Want to shoot endless mind bullets that slice enemies to ribbons? Hmm, yeah, there's a spell for that.
Doing any of that and more with pre-epic is a more suitable test of skill. I personally am a fan of Tippy's IA's of warforged psion 20 PaO'd into granite blocks and made ethereal. Fill an entire city with the normal ones and the ethereal ones. Yeah, that image still blows my mind.In my dreams, I am currently adruid 20/wizard 10/arcane hierophant 10/warshaper 5.Actually, after giving birth to a galaxy by splitting a black hole, level is no longer relevant.

I follow a general rule: better to ask and be told no than not to ask at all.

Wow. That's... that makes a certain amount of sense. They've also taken Spell Thematics, obviously.

Re: Characters you can't stat in 3.5
What do you need Spell Thematics for? Epic Spells are custom, you pick what they look like anyways.
But yeah, so all DBZ characters are Sorcerer/Monks with Ascetic Mage and mostly really low Int scores, which is why they think 10 minute cast times are acceptable for combat spells.
The Hyperbolic Time Chamber is Kami's fast-time demiplane,I follow a general rule: better to ask and be told no than not to ask at all.

And the Spirit bomb adds in ritual casting mitigation... it makes so much sense...

"Shenanigans"
Is this meant to be a serious "challenge"? Homestuck is about characters that are aware that they're in a game exploiting and sometimes even breaking the rules of the medium. In other words, some of them resemble things that might not be laughed at at Tippy's table.

I'm interested in seeing how you'd stat Sebastian from Kuroshitsuji. Can't work it out myself.

Re: Characters you can't stat in 3.5
Him being some flavor of Evil Outsider is a no-brainer; the only issue would be picking one that's PC-legal if this is for a Player, but to be honest this sort of thing would actually work better as either an NPC or a DMPC, and the rules are kinda warped in either case (not needing to worry about LA in the former, and not needing to worry about party-balance nearly as much in the latter (situations where DMPCs are warranted as more than a way to pad out the PC's party numbers tend to come part and parcel with the DMPC being stronger than normal)). After that? From what little I know of the character, while most forms of caster (especially the ones that come with Gish functionality hardwired in) would work, the Factotum would fit the ability to do basically if not literally anything you could ask him to do. Chameleon would also fit (potentially even better than Factotum, if it weren't for the need of downtime to switch gears until later levels), but that's race-specific and I'd rather not need something to be Houseruled, since that kinda defeats the purpose of this challenge. The guy is pretty damn high level, though, so it may be toeing the line if you want him pre-Epic.
