Not directly. The only inherent function of Perform (dance) is earning money. However, if you take a level of Exemplar, you can use the skill as a Diplomacy check in certain situations, possibly convincing someone else to can can cans on your behalf.

As per the listen check, singing doesn't make people any easier to hear. We'll be generous and call it "talking" (insert Russell Crowe joke here) and set the DC to 0. They are in Paris, I'm in Zurich, that's some 400 miles, so I have about -200'000 to my check. No, I can not hear them.

Anger does not make them any easier to hear. However, "a battle" is -10 DC to listen. No, I still can't hear them.Resident Vancian Apologist

Re: Questions that can't be answered... Answered by RAW
From a long time ago, but it's been asked more than once:
'Clap' is onomatopoeia - "a word which resembles the sound which it represents", just like 'boom' or 'bang' for further examples.
As it is possible to clap one handed (you can clap someone on the back to congratulate them for something for example), ergo the sound made by one hand clapping is "clap".
A comparable question would be, "What is the sound of one hand mooing?". The answer would logically be the same thing - "moo" is also onomatopoeia, so if ANYTHING is mooing then it's make the sound "moo".
Of course, a better and more logical question would be, "Is it possible for one hand to moo?" but that is entirely beside the point.... And likely possible with sufficient ranks in Profession: Ventriloquism and/or judicious application of Baleful Polymorph.~ CAUTION: May Contain Weasels ~

Re: Questions that can't be answered... Answered by RAW
A 420: A person rendered Helpful by use of the Diplomacy skill will take risks to help you. Possible actions include: protect, back up, heal, aid.
A 421: Casting Bull's Strength with Persistent Spell affords a +4 to STR for a lengthy period of time. Standing from prone is a move-equivalent action, and casting a spell is a standard action. So, yes.
A 422: Scrying allows you to see some creature which may be at any distance. If the creature fails its saving throw, you can see and hear the subject and the subject’s immediate surroundings (approximately 10 feet in all directions of the subject).
A 423: The Banner of the Storm's Eye, being a magic item, may be advanced or improved in abilities in accordance with the rules for adding further abilities to magic items contained in the SRD. As with creation of magic items, adding new abilities to magic items typically involves a requirement that the creator pay the gold piece and XP costs required; however, characters may also cooperate to provide prerequisites in magic item creation.
A 424: The spell Deathwatch allows a caster, using the foul sight granted by the powers of unlife, to determine the condition of creatures near death within the spell’s range. You instantly know whether each creature within the area is dead, fragile (alive and wounded, with 3 or fewer hit points left), fighting off death (alive with 4 or more hit points), undead, or neither alive nor dead (such as a construct). However, all rolls attempting to strike another target are subject to a roll of a twenty-sided dice.Last edited by Saintheart; 2018-10-25 at 12:07 AM.
